All the Wrong Things
#All The Wrong Things
(an imprfct love story)
It's not your gentle laughter
Or the thrill when we both touch.
It's not your beauty (though I
Do adore that very much)
It's all the things you think are wrong,
Your quirks and flaws and such.
Sometimes I think I've got this love thing
Somehow upside-down.
It's not your perfect smile
Or the sunlight in your hair
It's not the way I call you Bunny
When you call me Bear
It's how you snore when you're asleep
And nibble on your hair.
Sometimes I think I've got this love thing
Turned the wrong way round.
It's not your kindness, though no-
One could fault your kindly heart.
It's not your intellect – though
Few could match you smarts for smarts.
It's your twisted little smirk and
How you laugh at all my farts.
Sometimes I think I've got this love thing
Barely figured out.
It's not the way you catch me blushing
When I stare at you.
It's not the easy way that both
Our ones became a two.
It's every moment that we share
And how I always knew
That all the things you think are wrong
Are perfect through and through.
