Okay, first off, LOVED THIS!
Your use of similes to tell a story puts a series of images in my mind that is very expressive. I specifically like the part about a ship caught in a storm, then you kind of bring it back with the green oar. I don't know if this was on purpose or not but I think it would be stronger if you kept that theme going. Lines 5-6 could maybe use a transition to make this smoother. Maybe something about peaking tall waves, tipping over the other side... I dunno, just thinking out loud. This is your work in the end and it moved me. Thank you for sharing! Let me know if you want me to elaborate my ideas.

imagery is spot on. I never felt so much for a leaf.  

maybe to keep the consistency, combine the 2nd stanza with the first one, because that's the only stanza that doesnt start with "So delicate and fragile"    

but if not, would like to smooth out that transition between 1st and 2nd stanza for it ends and starts with the same words. maybe something like,  
>   yet as resilient as a ship  


>   That's caught in the storm




So delicate and fragile  
As thin as paper  
As light as a feather  
Yet as resilient as a ship  


A ship caught in the storm  
Hanging from a thin green thread  
Just like hopes and dreams
