Windbreaker - First Poem On Here
Lately I’ve been fucking strangers
the way a homeless man huddles in a gray adidas windbreaker in
the middle of a snowstorm
and
prays to a god that allowed him to happen
that its thin fabric is enough
to survive. And
I’ve been cold
for as long as I can remember.
To-
morrow is empty as the
marrow that began it’s drip-drop
the evening you left. And
my days are blank
-ets of snow that stall 2 wheel-drive automobiles.
I’m ill-
equipped to live here. And
I’m dying
in this mountain town. And
I’ve lost my way
