Purity, Infancy

A vast, omnipotent moon dawns over the horizon.

We awake, our new chapter stirs into risin'.

The basic conclusion of it being a certain bore,

Familiar faces, lived in environments,

All the way to the core.

Is there ever such an insult to perception?

Has it been planted since conception?

Have you witnessed the beautiful victory of birth?

Crying at the unfamilarity, how long is it until our first mirth?

The first, brief treads on the body of land

Under a pale, jewel moon wide and grand.

O, depths of retention, hold this moment

Until the final hour, before the eternal enrollment

Mend the fading atonements and be condolent.

Journey into the midnight, the penultimate hour

Self discovery and surge as the authentic flower,

Long and comb for your elected garden bower,

Where you can reside and dine on mutual power.

Race down the quiet, cool beaches at an untimely hour.

Cohabit, icy fingers entwined, in God's dusky shower

We are all little universes living in an overarching being.

Your eyes are glowing, newly born stars

And your heart is a radiant sun.

Don't get lost in the everlasting black holes, rosy child

Times will surface again.

Hold onto those little radiant shooting stars, so urbane and arcane.

The vastness of the soul is a heavy layer to unroll.

Eyes, voluble and elegant, like autonomous doors.

They ingest modernity and the recurring wars.

They meet, greet. Catch the other look across the room

A remedy for the inner gloom.

Let us all study each other's aura. Let us undress

The crevices into consciousness.

Until it reveals a latent and hyper soul, it dances.

Where have our savored ordeals in the moon flown?

Why must beauty be reluctantly outgrown?

The dying voodoo moon retires behind transparent, cotton clouds

Like jittery spirits in overwhelming crowds

The stars assemble for temporary expiration, in a mutual rally.

The resurgence of the sun asserts an untimely finale,

And a new beginning in the sublunar valley
