at least, not one.

i’m in love with the universe;
with pencils that smudge graphite on your fingers, glowing obsidian creativity, with sweat that anoints the skin with holy humanity,
with stars that shine on us even when we make mistakes.

i’m in love with people;
we’ve no fucks left to give:
falling in love in the face of oblivion staring fate in the eyes and walking the other way
flipping off patience with obstinate curiosity.

mountains and heavens and compassion should not be real.
all this is a
computational error
absurdity
two in the suffocating binary ocean
but here we are, an oasis of tangibility almost swallowed by a theoretical desert,
refusing to be anything but neon-sign discount-price HERE WE ARE
here I MYSELF am

stardust and
