this has a lot of very good imagery. I'm not sure if the lack of line breaks was intentional or not, but I would suggest placing a couple in there. Use them strategically, and I find that it can really emphasize certain lines over others.

I guess that the main point of this poem is that anyone can change their heart in an instant, just when they meet someone special. Really nice! The only thing I would do, is describe the color blue, just like you did with black. Because blue can be seen a happy or sad color, depending on interpretation.

I really love the focus on those two colors. I do think that the poem would be more effective though, if there was some kind of transition between meeting their gaze and the blue blue part. It feels sort of abrupt. I know the point is abruptness, but I think you already get that feel in the transition from colour to january, you don't need it twice.

This spoke to me somehow. Its short and powerful, yet it spoke to me on several levels. Sometimes you really do just needs a few words.

I do wonder if blue is positive or negative, but that's also something good to be left wondering about. Its open for interpretation from different kind of opinions. 

As people have said this poem is short but still managed to provoke emotion in me, very good job! The imagery you create for the reader on this is excellent and I really like the last 4 lines which indicate to me that the narrators mood has been changed in such an instant. I like the way you end the poem but as people have suggested you could go into more detail about what the colour blue means to you as you did with black

black
black is my favourite colour
it mirrors the sadness that trickles through my veins 
and the anger
that wraps itself around my mind
it shadows over anything light
and envelops you in an embrace of solitude
a tone that muffles me
and fades me out of existence 
black
black is my favourite colour

someone touches my shoulder
i turn my head to meet their gaze

blue
blue is my favourite colour
