Sure, I hinted at it in the enjambment of "choco/late eclair," with the cop not caring about a robbery "downtown" and with "white jellydonuts" but I see that it's a little oblique. And thanks!

You did a great job tying what you thought to be 'lord' to 'this man is not a god', I really liked how you pulled that around. I think it would be cool if you tied in the prejudice a little more, maybe in the beginning or middle. It just feels a little out of place when you're describing your environment and then describe his job? Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Overall, this was a really cool and refreshing poem!

Cops are people too! I don't really have much editing/insight as far as improvements go, IMO I think it's about perfect on that front. I totally understand what you're saying, and as someone who shmokes the wacky tobbacky on a daily basis I have to constantly remind myself that cops aren't heartless robots just out to harass us, they're people with moms and dads, families, kids; in that aspect they're just like the rest of us. And like the last line says, sometimes I'd like it if they saw us the same way. Great poem yo!

I really like the ending, and the way you've capitalized "He," even though you say he's not a god. It makes for a really cool juxtaposition. :)

Your use of enjambment really helps the herky-jerky emotionality of the piece. It's like falling down a rabbit hole of assumptions, where one leads to the next and the next and the next. I also enjoy the subtle commentary of institutional failures--him ignoring the bank robbery and the use of "white jellydonuts" really nails together the narrator's contempt for someone who might seriously be as much a passerby in the situation as the narrator. 

I really like this poem because although you get the sense that the cop is actually maybe a good guy, the ending, “prejudicely” suddenly made me question if he was an innocent guy with a tough job or an asshole who doesn’t care if someone dies cuz he wants a donut. at first i wasn’t a big fan of the formatting (i don’t like unnecessarily cutting off words) but it’s really fun and has this really even, measured tempo. all around i think this piece has a lot of individuality, i just think you could either choose to develop a bit more imagery or a bit more theme; it’s missing a backdrop

Beautiful, I read it with a rhythm. Was “regular person” intentionally not combined? I thought that might be a nice conclusion to the other compounded words.
