I've been writing for a while now and would love feedback on one of my poems
Can't Seem To Forget
As I walk alone,
Down the quiet road.
Whispers of the past,
Conjured within my thoughts,
Save for the last.
Your image burned,
Like a photograph in my mind.
The way you turned,
Showing every emotion but kind.
I left in a hurry,
Dazed but not confused.
My sight grew blurry,
My love had been misused.
I try in vain,
Yet I can't seem to forget.
I grimaced in pain,
By the sight of your silhouette.
And I knew at that moment,
I would never forget.
Feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated, thank you!
