All the light
From forbidden rooftops
The solar sea diffuses into our dreamlines
Drenched in volor, we give eachother a new name
From hazy night walks
Stories about strangers you just danced with
And I wonder where I fit in this tale
From quaint drives through the country
As I talk about all the light we cannot see
You turn it into a song with tungsten strings
From shallow river as our secrets drip
To dark childhood where your voice stays trapped in a music box
And a nightmare as I lay cold on the red grass, eyes shut
Midsummer daintess, I wish I could see the poetry in you
