Gold Memories

The end may be here and my future fate is unclear.

But a new path appears with my fear to soon disappear.

As i’m surrounded by friends and smiles at my core,

I only wish these shining moments could last awhile more.

As the bitter past around me wither and decays,

Memories of gold last within forever days.
