Yikes. Some employee mentally masturbating over his own poker knowledge apparently forgot whom he works for. Not only is it awful for the game, but it undermines the actual purpose of the article and Ignition's interests. What a colossal screw-up.

I found 4 way more disturbing than 3. What is ignition thinking.

That kinda article is more likely to drive new players away by intimidating them.

Yet I play on Ignition and people still call my three-bet shoves in MTTs for 20 BBs with J5o, QJs, etc. You can lead a blind horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

I don't understand, this is going over my head. Anyone care to explain to a newbie/idiot?

I read it as them saying if you use a heads up display/poker tracker software you'll win more, but HUDs are useless in anonymous poker rooms. And ignition is anonymous.

I use drive hud on ignition, it's not quite useless. It will track hands on nonzoom formats, and reset when the player leaves, deff limited uses but sometimes you can get a sample of a couple hundred hands and at least know how many hands they are playing. It also helps to track your own frequencies, and to find leaks and punts that you are doing. Which is incredibly useful you haven't fine tuned your game yet

Aren’t HUDs also banned on Ignition? I thought they had something that in the TOS

Yeah I think that's pretty obvious, I just think it's surprising they put something like this up in the first place
