For Those Hurt

Dear Faded Queens,

When you pull those sleeves over the scars

along your ruby skin

they become clearer.

​

The life you live

and the destruction of the one who ruins your bliss

will haunt you if you do not believe.

​

Know that you are the rightful heir

to a passionate and memorable life

and when that awful King takes aim once again

​

put on your crown.
