Unwelcome Visitor

On Friday arrived anger

Trilling awful tunes

Raging harshly

Violent, shameful

Claiming lodging, I made room

Consuming me self-righteously

Spinning tales, treacherous

The churning, burning

Aggressive vagrant

Lodged within my breast

How to evict this awful tenant

Deep within my chest?

Will forgiveness visit Saturday

When I have had some rest?
