When I Was Five

Did you know that when I was five

I climbed Mount Kiliman- sofa cushion?

It was just part of the mission

Rescue blanky, bring him back alive

 

Another time, I took a swan dive

right into the heart of the great lava lake

They sent me to stop the cooties outbreak

I did all this when I was just five

 

All of a sudden I’m twenty-five

I got called over to fix the printer

I wonder what’s for dinner

Before you leave, remember to grab the external hard drive

 

My commute is a long drive

Shoot, I have to stop for gas

What a pain in the ass

I do all this at twenty-five

 

I wish for a spatial tear

One that would take me there

Twenty-five is whack

Just take me back.
