Settings
- Under Controls, remove all your Dead Zones. These will make your joysticks respond to the slightest tilt of the stick. Needed for headshots.
- For Third Person, adjust your sensitivity to what feels comfortable. Increase your Look Sensitivity for fast turnarounds and adjust your Aim Sensitivity to what is responsive and comfortable.
- Aim/Look Acceleration should be as high as you can stand.
- Use Wide auto-aim to lock-on a bigger range.
- You can buy things from the catalog using Rockstar's website https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/rdr2/catalogue/online/
- You can use a second screen as a persistent map if your phone or tablet is compatible with RDR2's app
- If you don't like to rapidly tap your buttons there is a setting to instead Hold your buttons.
New Players
- Get your free High Roller Revolver from the Fence
- Order your outfits from a store and NOT the catalog. The catalog doesn't individually give you each item of clothing. Glitch?
- If you haven't played RDO and are curious what it has to offer, here are some day-one experiences and observations: (1) https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/a12hqv/red_dead_online_faq, (2) https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/a4cr58/level_40_here_putting_together_advice_for_my/, and (3) https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/a14dpx/day_one_rd_online_journal. r/RedDeadRedemption said they will be making daily Megathreads over there.
- Put your starting points in health, it seems the slowest thing to level normally.
- Upgrade Health by fishing and winning fist fights, Stamina by running, and Dead Eye by getting headshots, shooting birds, and killing while on horseback. Every little thing you do is a chance to earn some of these five XP categories: Health, Stamina, Dead Eye, Rank, or Horse Bonding.
- In order to auto ride your horse you have to mark a destination on your map and hold your Cinematic button while you gallop in the correct direction.
- After you hit L2 to lock-on your opponent, flick up on the right joystick to quickly aim at their head.
- Removing all of your Dead Zones in control settings will make your flick to the head quicker and more responsive.
- Save your money for useful things. Weapon upgrades are expensive, very useful, and better to have than fancy clothes.
- Buy ammo in missions, it's the easiest way. Every other option requires visiting a location. You might be able to join a mission or event lobby, buy ammo, and return to free roam. In GTA leaving a job during the lobby gave you Bad Sport points. No idea if it is the same for RDO.
- If you buy a lot of ammo from the catalog it goes to the Post Office. The Post Office holds way more ammo than you can carry, so it's handy to use them as an ammo storage. Only do this with weapons you use or you will have a pile of ammo taking up space.
- You can buy the Bow at Level 10 and the Fishing Rod at Level 13.
- Guns go to your horse, use the catalog to buy them.
- If you are trying to be productive then avoid other players in free roam, much like GTA, griefing is a fact of life.
- Don't open a menu or the catalog with people nearby.
- Use fortifying (gold) Health tonics before getting into a fight. This will give you a gold health meter. Same with Stamina and Dead Eye tonics.
- Eat meat (preferably Big Game) seasoned with Mint if you want a gold, or fortified, Health core, Oregano if you want a fortified Stamina core, or Thyme if you want a fortified Dead Eye core.
- You can regenerate your cores by resting by a fire. Any fire, not just your camp.
- Your camp or your Posse's camp can restore your cores. Upgrade your camp for more core healing benefits, while at the camp.
- There is a poor man's fast travel between the 5 states, but it loads you into a new session. Pause the game and hit Online. Pick your area. This apparently keeps you in the same session if you are in a Posse.
- Replaying story missions are great for XP.
- You can dual wield by Level 25 after purchasing a holster.
- Horse bonding gives honor. And the best way to bond with your horse is to lead it. Lead your horse from the Bayou to Saint Denis or a similar distance anywhere on the map.
- Holstering your weapons allows you and your horse to run faster.
- During an animation (skinning, getting off a horse, etc) you can bring up your map to watch for other players.
- The better your cores, the longer you aim, the less you move, and crouching improves your aim. For instance, when you aim your shotgun and wait for a second you will see your reticle shrink. This will give you a tighter spread and better accuracy.

Horse
- If your horse dies the hit Left on the D-Pad > Stable > Manage Owned Horses > Heal. There is a small fee of $2 or $4 if your Horse is uninsured.
- Horse insurance only means once your horse dies, then returns, it will have full cores and not drained cores. If uninsured you will pay $2 to bring your horse back to your stable. With or without insurance, your horse never permanently dies and can be called after a 2-minute cooldown after showing up in your stable.
- You can prevent strangers from riding your horse by changing its access with Left on D-Pad > Stables > Horse Access. You can also select which horses you'd like to default as your racing horse, mission horse, event horse, and free roam horse.
- Buy the Horse Brush from your catalog. It's cheap and you need it to please your horse.
- You can hitch your Horse any tree or post. Just hold Triangle / Y.
- Changing a horse in a Stable loses any stackable pelts you have on it. Also, any change in session does this too, be it a mission or free roam invite.
- Saddles and horse Stirrups can improve your horse's core recharge and reduce core drain. Special Saddles come with their own beneficial Stirrups.
- Leading your horse is the best bonding XP. It can max your horse bonding in around 30 minutes.
- While clicking L3 will calm your horse when it is startled by predators and/or gunfire, it is also a good way to gain a small boost of stamina for your horse. There seems to be a 10-second cooldown between stamina boosts.
- Upgrading your horse's saddlebags to the larger ones does not give you extra storage space.
- You can craft certain things while on your horse. Split Point ammo is one that comes to mind. The catch is you can only trot slowly while crafting.
- If a horse's ears are forward instead of backward, they will rarely kick you.
- Apparently, you can revive your Horse just using another horse to trample over your injured horse's neck. Sounds glitchy but there are claims of it working.
Hunting and Fishing
- Easily kill animals and preserve their pelts by lassoing animals then knifing.
- Skinning a carcass before you sell it doesn't reduce its value, plus you can sell the pelt separately.
- Use Dead Eye when fishing and you can see exactly where to cast towards fish.
- You can skip the carcass skinning animation by standing your horse over the carcass.
- If someone is approaching you with the intention to kill hitch your horse to a tree so if you die your pelts don't disappear. Then you can return to your horse if it hasn't been killed.
- Once you break-in a wild horse, you can ride it while your owned horse follows. This means you can store large pelts or carcasses on both and ride to the Butcher. Remember to hitch the wild horse before each time you get off. If you don't, it may run away and there's no way for you to call it.
- Carry a third carcass by lassoing the third dead animal before skinning. You can drag it while riding your horse at any speed and it won't lose value. Skin it once you've reached the Butcher.
- You and a friend can load up a stolen wagon or train with pelts and other goodies. The only catch is at least one player stays with the loot, or it all despawns. I personally do not know how to get items onto the train. I would try stowing the item on your horse, stand on the train near your horse, then remove the item while you're on the train.
- If the Butcher is glitched and/or unresponsive then hitch your horse, kill yourself either with dynamite or gravity, then walk to our horse without calling it. This should keep your pelt and unglitch the Butcher.
- If a carcass falls in water, you can retrieve it with the lasso.
- You can throw a dead body or carcass into wait and fish will soon spawn.
- When reeling in a fish turn your controller sideways and spin the joystick like an actual reel. For submersion, R2/RT will still be in a good position for your rod's line release button.
Camp
- Your camp is placed at random. You can move it to a different area but you can't decide if exactly where.
- Camp upkeep costs a daily fee. It's increased based on the size of your Posse.
- Camp can be used to check your Post mail, craft, rest, and, after an upgrade, fast travel.
- When your camp flag is up, you cannot shoot and cannot get shot. However people can still toss dynamite and other throwables into your camp from the outside. This can hurt those in the camp.
- Another bug with the Camp's protections is a player who is far enough from your camp can aim with or without a scope and kill you. Bypassing protections.
- You can get free beer from anyone's camp.
Clothing
- Save Bandanas to your outfits to slip them on/off.
- A hat flashing silver means it won't save to your character and gold means it will.
- You can shoot a dead NPC's head to obtain their hat.
- As stated before, purchase Outfits in-store as opposed to using the catalog. A glitch with the catalog doesn't give you each individual clothing from the outfit, just the outfit as a whole.
- Use Hair Pomade before seeing the Barber to view more hairstyles.
Money Making
- Hideouts and ambushes have the chance of giving you Treasure Maps. Loot everybody for better chances. Here is a map of hideout and locations https://i.imgur.com/lkhzg9P.png
- Here is a detailed chart of every hunting and fishing item sell prices https://i.redd.it/s0tny0sb7g821.jpg Here is another detailed chart https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lSbAMAHMys5J_as2mRV-6Y5_V1qfd8MBNPsWWn8UXdU/edit#gid=0 Here is a really condense chart of animal prices: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/183ZjUE6ipmNJ3ThCorpE5NNynsnZL4Enp_ksAbJaPUw/edit#gid=960937994
- Once you have completed an Award, go reset the challenge to do it again and stack more gold/money. You can redo challenges 10 times but some don't reset at all.
- People have their own hunting and fishing circuits they like to run. Mine is shooting birds, hogs, and reptiles in the Bayou north of Saint Denis.
- Make sure you loot enemy NPC's horse saddlebags for goods and money. You can loot BOTH sides of their horse.
- Stranger missions, like Story missions, pay better the longer the mission lasts.
- Here is an excellent tutorial of weapons and each Showdown. Good strategies. https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/a3e02p/an_indepth_guide_to_pvp_in_rdo/
- Starting a Stranger Missions with a Treasure Hunt active has a chance of glitching away that treasure and its map.
- Force Respawning through your menu will fail a Gang Hideout.
Farming Methods and Circuits
You can continually loot the same cabin/shack/location by looting then go to Pause > Online > Free Roam to switch lobbies and remain in the same location. This will replenish the loot each time you switch.
- The most popular money making circuit is currently a weird glitch where Steelhead Trout spawns on the ground. Go here https://i.imgur.com/rY6LZds.png, use Eagle Eye to check the East fence near a barrel and a water trough. If you don't see any then go in the house, loot the Chewing Tobacco and liquor, then look again with Eagle Eye. Each time you do this you have a high percentage of getting 3 to 6 Steelhead Trouts. Pause > Online > Free Roam to do it again. You will have max (10) Steelheads very fast. Then you can start kicking the fish before picking them up. This will allow you to carry more since they are a lower grade. Sometimes if you die in this area you will spawn at Tumbleweed's Butcher. Try using the Respawn menu option or punch your Horse and it will kick you.
- Lemoyne has 5 Hideouts and 1 Ambush to rotate between and session switch https://i.imgur.com/YBDvgw9.jpg
- Stealth kill miners with a knife then loot them for Tonics and Cocaine Gum https://i.imgur.com/zPY8VFy.jpg
- Great fishing, Whitetail, Gun Oil, Horse Reviver and Stimulant, Oatcakes, and (2) Jewelry location https://i.imgur.com/FRM9EhK.png
- Free beer and whiskey https://i.redd.it/4ysfjmsp8x521.jpg
- Another fishing route https://i.redd.it/to3vh0w6j3821.jpg
- Lasso and loot NPCs for zero wanted level
- Lasso and knife sheep in Valentine. They're right by a butcher. Helps to go at night.
- Gin, Bourbon, Cigarettes, and a Cigar throughout this house and shed https://i.imgur.com/AQIyugG.jpg
- Cow and chicken spawn location https://i.redd.it/kbhj3a383f921.jpg
- Another convenient Gang Hideout circuit https://i.redd.it/ghwknwpsicb21.png
Ranking
- Go to Saint Denis and find a ladder to a rooftop. Get a wanted level and kill the cops as they come up the ladder. Headshots and executions give more XP. Also use special ammo for an extra 5 XP per kill. So equipping special ammo then tackling a cop and spamming R2 will give you 30 XP per kill. Hip firing is another XP bonus. To free aim with no reticle use your character's eye level then hold R2 to hip fire.
- Replay story missions. You get bonuses for not having anybody die. But if you have to retry a checkpoint, the XP from killing everyone before you died remains.
- Stranger Missions have been updated to provide much better money and XP payout. The best ones for XP are delivery missions. Each drop-off gives you XP in addition to the completion payout. Have 4 or more Posse members for a better chance of getting 4 delivery items.
- Stranger Mission payout chart https://i.imgur.com/2IFZtGh.png
- If you are driving a wagon for a mission, the wagon goes to autopilot if you are on the right path and hold L2 with a weapon.
- Killing other players in free roam with special ammo while on horseback can give you 40 XP per kill.
- Go AFK in races by rubberbanding your controller.
- Alternatively, farm kill the AFK players in races.
- Grab dynamite and throw it at fish. There is an Award for killing 2 or more animals with one explosion. This is great for XP and once you get the Award, reset it and repeat.
- Lassoing then killing animals counts as Executions for your Awards.
PvP
- The Varmint Rifle is currently the best weapon. High rate of fire and range and still provides one hit kill headshots. Aim, flick up, and fire.
- The Pump Shotgun is the best shotgun. Even though it holds 5 shells and the Repeating Shotgun holds 6, the Pump has a better rate of fire and range.
- While aiming, hold X/A to strafe faster. If you aim while in first person, holding the button isn't necessary. This will be crucial for PvP sniping fights where no one is close enough to lock-on.
- If you find yourself sniping while on horseback, strafing is possible. Select your scope while on horseback and get some forward momentum. Aim down scope and strafe with Square / X. Max Horse Bonding required.
- When in first person mode, R3 turns you 180 degrees. In third person, hold R3 and hit L2 to spin around and aim. The same is true for using turrets.
- Using turrets in first person improve aiming speed and could possibly reduce recoil.
- Also while aiming, hit left on the D-Pad. This switches which shoulder you aim over. It is useful to view around corners when you're not in cover. If someone comes out from a corner from a side you're not aiming over, the enemy will be able to see and shoot you first.
- If you are aiming you can hit Square / X to dive in a direction. Diving momentarily breaks your opponent's auto-lock onto you. As you hit the ground, quickly let go of L2 and repress it. This will give you the ability to re-aim at your opponent, lock-on, and shoot even before you are back on your feet. Some players expect this and dive after you do. This means they will have the advantage. The trick is to be the last one to dive and shoot before your opponent dives again. If you dive behind cover you can lock-on to your opponent as you're standing up before they can see you.
- Diving is very useful. You should engrain it into your muscle memory. It breaks your opponent's aim and gives you time to spin your camera around and return fire.
- When you sense an enemy HOLD L2, dive with Square + Direction, spin your camera to your opponent and re-press and HOLD L2, click R3 for Slow And Steady, flick the right stick up, and R2 to for a headshot. Dive and spin your camera again if there are more enemies. If not, click R3 to turn off Dead Eye. Learn to do this instantly and back-to-back.
- The more you use a particular weapon, the more familiar your character will become with it. Improved reload speed, along with decreased reticule settle time and recoil shake are the main benefits associated with using the same weapon in combat.
- A weapon can also improve its stats with special ammo.
- Wear black and use a black horse. This makes you harder to spot. Especially at night where lighting is sparse.
- You are allowed to buy all weapons at Level 50.
- Always try to lock-on to your enemy when they are close. When they are behind trees or bushes the lock-on will find them, even if you can't see them. Chances are the other guy isn't going to do the same.
- Drop dynamite by hitting R2 without holding L2. How you can auto-lock onto the dynamite and shoot to detonate.
- While trying to be stealthy, you can tell you are off the radar if you are a grey arrow on the minimap. A white arrow means you are visible. This does not work in free roam.
- Here is a user's PvP Ability Card set-up and weapon loadout but feel free to find which style is best for you https://www.reddit.com/r/RedDeadOnline/comments/a1ssie/pvp_player_build_and_advice_destroy_those_casual/?utm_source=reddit-android and another user's https://www.reddit.com/r/RedDeadOnline/comments/a4dtlv/pvp_advice_from_a_level_85_player_this_will/
- Special ammo like exploding arrows and shotguns shells are preferred. I believe you need to be a certain level to obtain/craft these. Crafting one explosive item takes one animal fat.
- When you tackle someone, or someone tackles you, you are both told to spam Circle / B. The winner of this spamfest is whoever has the most Stamina. If you have less than half Stamina, you will lose. If you both have less than half Stamina or matching Stamina, you will have to spam each other. The one doing the tackling will always win a tie. Once you Stamina runs out during this struggle, you're dead. Abuse Stamina tonics if you plan to tackle a lot!
- With that said, if I tackle someone and spam R2 I ALWAYS execute the enemy unless my stamina is drained. This has won me lots of Showdowns.
- If you are lassoed by someone then quickly switch to your knife and you will instantly be free. However, this doesn't help if you are already hogtied.
- Special Ammo adds to your weapon's stats, as well as other abilities:
- Split Point - A good increase in damage and uses less of your Dead Eye meter when firing. Can only be crafted but only takes normal ammo to craft with no other ingredient. And you can craft either at a fire or while walking on your horse.
- Express - An extreme increase in damage. Can only be bought/looted.
- High Velocity - A good increase in damage and a huge increase in range and accuracy. Can only be bought/looted.
- Explosive - Boom. Can only be crafted. Explosive Rifle ammo is the only way to get a one-hit body shot kill with a gun. but you can only carry 10.
- When you are able to buy them around level 44, Shotgun slugs are way better than normal shells.
- Get wraps for your gun. You won't have to clean them as often and clean guns are what you need for a PvP edge.
- Dead Eye will give you perfect aim, no reticule adjustments, and use your Ability Cards.
- Dead Eye will increase your shotgun's range and accuracy. Add shotgun slugs for maximum damage.
- Dead Eye is also useful for tagging if you equip the "Paint It Black" Ability card. If an enemy is out of lock-on range, you can still tag them for clean shots.
- Some combat evolution we have been seeing: "Slow and Steady" kills Varmint Rifle. Shotgun slugs kill "Slow and Steady". Sniper Rifles top everything from a distance.
- If you are crouching and in stealth mode and notice your arrow go from grey to white, then evade into cover! This means someone is aiming at you.
- Knife kills can be faster if you stop before attacking. This will slash your opponent instead of tackling them.
- Here is a post I made detailing a useful strategy for Showdowns at Tall Trees: https://www.reddit.com/r/RedDeadOnline/comments/a7jx3a/i_have_two_extremely_useful_tips_for_showdowns_in/
- For whatever reason you'd see it fit, you can no-scope free aim a scoped weapon by barely pressing R2. This will shot a reticle. Fully press to shoot.
- You can turn a grapple into a ground grapple with L3.
- Free aiming a rifle, especially the Varmint Rifle, with or without a scope will still give you one-hit headshot kills.
- At close range, free aiming a shotgun can be massively effective if you can quickly strafing in-and-out of cover/obstruction. With your shotgun in third-person, hold L2 while strafing in and out of cover. If you are in first-person then holding X isn't needed. As soon as you pop out of cover fire your shotgun and instantly strafe back into cover. You can do this back-to-back, staying out of sight just long enough to break your opponent's lock-on aim.
- Aiming your weapon before drawing is done with your character's eye level. Helps to aim before hip firing.
- If you feel someone will headshot you, hit L3 to duck and continue to fire.
- Going through water will rapidly degrade your weapon's condition.
- While aiming on horseback, your horse will maintain the same speed until you stop aiming.
- Getting a kill outside of Dead Eye will net you a small amount of Dead Eye.
- If you are quick enough, you can fire your weapon with Dead Eye active then deactivate it before the kill to still get the Dead Eye bonus.
- Igniting, throwing, or shooting Dynamite will give you a Dead Eye boost when it explodes even if no one is hurt. I am unsure if Volatile Dynamite nets you a better boost.
- Hold to Tap or Tap Assist x4 could give you an advantage during melee struggles. Feedback on this would be helpful.
- If you see no way out of your situation and you would rather die by your own hand, or if you just need a fresh respawn for whatever reason, you can force Respawn with D-Pad Left > Online Options > Respawn. This will kill your character and give you full health and no wanted level on respawn.
- You can double tap D-Pad Left and select a Player to view their Ability Loadout. Useful to learn other combinations and also anticipate what that player will do during a PvP scenario. You can adjust your Cards accordingly.
- Use L3 to crouch while walking and when someone is aiming at you. It will making it harder to aim at your head.
Showdowns
- This section will slowly grow. Most of the good stuff is in the PvP and Ability Cards sections.
- Never Without One protects you from 1 headshot. When you have a team color you always respawn with a hat.
- Joining a Permanent Posse and enabling Posse outfits then joining a Showdown will allow you to always respawn with your hat, despite the game mode.
- Shooting horses in the head will give you a Dead Eye boost.
- Hostile Territory (Team)
- Starting spawn locations give a huge advantage. In Heartland Oilfields the Old Campaigners (Yellow) have a great starting location between two territories. For Blackwater it's The Coyote Pack (Orange) and Rhodes is fairly even but The Hooligans (Green) have more choices when running to a first territory.
- Take over a territory then crouch off the radar while you wait for more enemies.
- Name Your Weapon (Team/Solo)
- Use the shotgun to steadily gain 3 points per kill. The Carbine is useless.
- Slippery Bastard + evading + knife = Either tackle them and spam R2/RT or come to a complete stop in front of them and spam Circle/B or R2/RT. The latter is faster.
- Explosive arrows can be picked up and are worth 9 points per kill
- Most Wanted (Solo)
- Basic PvP with possible horseback action. You are hidden on the map until someone spots/aims at you.
- Look around you as you move forward and don't forget to hold R3 to look behind.
- The current leader is always visible to everyone. If you're in the lead put your self in a spot with limited entrances with a shotgun. Expect people from each entrance. Throw Fire Bottles on one entrance to temporarily limit possible entry points.
Ability Cards
- Your four Ability Cards can be equipped to your character to add special perks. Your first card is free and will affect your Dead Eye. The other three cards passively affect either your Combat, Recovery, or Defense abilities.
- The first passive card slot unlocks at Level 10, the second at Level 20, and the Third at Level 40.
- Each card can be upgraded twice. To upgrade, accrue 10,000 XP with the card equipped then the first upgrade can be bought for $350. For a second upgrade, 15,000 XP and $500 is required.
- You can freely change your cards so you are allowed to have a set for hunting, missions, PvP, and other activities.
- For PvP, the Ability Card "Slow and Steady" is amazing. While using Dead Eye, this card lets you take less damage to survive one hit headshots. It won't let you run or sprint, but that is unneeded when you can stand out in the open and headshot your opponent.
- I have gotten in the habit of seeing another player, aiming and diving, and have enabled Slow and Steady and shot my weapon before I get to my feet.
- If you couple "Slow and Steady" with "The Unblinking Eye", which increases your Dead Eye and Eagle Eye times, you will be quite the murder force.
- "Slippery Bastard" disables auto-aim for BOTH you and your enemy. This is useful if you are good with free aiming. Chances are your enemy won't know to do the same.
- "Eye for an Eye" restores a lot of Dead Eye each headshot. Great alternative to Dead Eye consumables.
- "Strange Medicine" instantly gives you Health each time you damage a player. But you regenerate Health slower. You can nullify this with "Cold Blooded" which heals you 5 seconds after getting a kill.
- "To Fight Another Day" allows you to take less damage while sprinting. "Peak Condition" increases your damage if your Stamina Bar is 75% or higher. Together or separate, they remain active while on horseback so you always have high Stamina and are always considered to be sprinting. This also applies while you're on wagons or carriages.
- Some weapon and Ability Card pairings:
- Slow and Steady + Winning Streak + Dual Schofield/Lancaster/Dual Volcanic Pistol = You can take headshot damage while you rapid fire one of these weapons. Each shot is more powerful than the last thanks to Winning Streak. Use this and spam body shots when someone is using Slow and Steady.
- To Fight Another Day + Horseman + Never Without One = You are your strongest while on horseback and Never Without One gives you immunity to one headshot per hat. And because you are on your horse you have an endless supply of hats.
- Slippery Bastard + Knife/Anything else + To Fight Another Day (Optional) + Of Single Purpose = Enable Dead Eye and Slippery Bastard will prevent anyone from locking onto you. Zigzag towards them and tackle them with any weapon and spam R2 for an execution. The two optional cards let you take less damage while sprinting (To Fight Another Day) and while holding a melee weapon or unarmed (Of Single Purpose).
- Slippery Bastard + Shotgun Slugs = Free aim headshots with your Slugs while your enemy can't auto-aim. The Dead Eye will also improve your range.
- Slow and Steady + Dynamite = Momentarily stand out in the open and throw dynamite near your enemies.
- Slow and Steady + Never Without One = Your hat is never knocked off while Dead Eye is active.
- Never Without One + Pernament Posse Outfits (or a team Showdown or both) = Always respawn with a hat.
- Paint It Black can counter Slippery Bastard if you tag them as they are approaching you. Use anything but a Varmint Rifle.
- You can activate Dead Eye while holding a knife and even while unarmed with the same L2 + R3 combination. This does not work with Paint It Black.
- Arrow headshots are unaffected by an enemy's Slow and Steady and will kill them.
Glitches and Exploits Awareness
- People with no skill use glitches and exploits for kills.
- Extremely rapid crouching to avoid headshots. Most likely a modded controller https://www.reddit.com/r/RedDeadOnline/comments/ahwfql/rapid_crouching/
