I mean, he's right, and they did take that ass whooping. The media may have you believe the team bitched a whole lot about running up the score, but I think they cherry picked a lot of those quotes, because literally everyone should know by now that the media thrives on controversy and misery. When it comes down to it, the players and coaches were probably just venting and talking shit because they want some bulletin board motivation for revenge. You can't really blame them that much. Well, I don't, but I'm biased as fuck. I disagree if they think your team handled that blowout the wrong way, but I don't think they even feel that way deep down. What I'm proud of is how they turned things around, because it showed heart. I'm worried as hell for the rematch, but I just want to see a good game, and in any case I'm so excited for another week of football with my team. I can't even focus. Good luck guys, though I think we'll need it a bit more.
I definitely agree with your turning it around statement. Just looking at how that Eagles team played in our first meeting, I thought they were done as far as the playoffs are concerned. To have turned it around like they have is very impressive.
