Ep 211 - The Tichborne Situation

Oh man, I relistened to this episode recently and it's such a cracker, easily in my top 5. It was recorded at a time where Trump becoming President was only a nervous giggle away, the story was insane with characters like Truth Butts, and the combination of Wil and Gareth crashing into each other with their quick-fire wit and puns was fantastic. I was there on the night also, so maybe it holds an extra special memory because of that.

If you're ever looking for one to go back and listen to again I recommend putting this one in your rotation.

This is my all-time favorite episode. I've probably listened no less than 50 times.

It's great because I don't come away just absolutely bummed about my reality.

"When I was down there... the water spoke again... Oh nothing, nothing nevermind..."

I was in the audience that night! Coincidently the 'Australian' newspaper printed his picture a few days ago in a story about black and white studio portraits.

Fist bump from a fellow Tichbourne alumni.

What's really nice too, the guys hung around for ages afterwards signing autographs and chatting. Very generous with their time even though they were on a grueling tour.

Truth Butts is the greatest name in Dollop history, and we were there to witness Gareth's reaction.

I've listened to it so many times, it's now where I start to fall asleep. It must've been awesome to actually see live- I would've loved to see Gary's impression of carrot head!
