Honestly impressed. Would love to not have an out to this. this is one of those decks I WANT to be extra-linked by. I swear I'm not a masochist
Not having an out is a bit too much but I do sometimes wish Tri-Gate was a Code Talker :P
Only shite decks like Gouki needs Firewall to Extra Link amirite? /s

rofl, spends turn making extra link - fuses it away for cyberese clock dragon next turn because running someone over 5 times isnt fun, better to run them over in 1 go and make sure you absolutely splatter them
Have to play around dark door.
I have no idea how to play this but I'm gonna save it juuuuust in case.
I've done a varient of this combo without using Code Talker Invert, using Wicckid, the Synchro support link. I use Linkuriboh and Transcode to Link summon it, then Special Sea Archiver to its zone right after it is Summoned. Wicckid's effect activates and I banish Balancer Lord to search Cyberse Synchron.
Balancer Lord's effect activates, allowing me to get Cyberse Synchron out on the field. (You can put it anywhere except right next to Excode's Link). Then I use Sea Archiver and Wicckid to Link Summon Excode Talker. I search Link Infraflier and I Special Summon it next to Excode's Link.
Next, I tune Cyberse Synchron and Link Infraflier to Synchro Summon Cyberse Integrator. It's effect activates, getting Cyberse Synchron back from the grave. Then I get Talkback Lancer and Link Devotee like you did. Except this time, Cyberse Integrator lets me draw a card when it's sent to the GY.
So if you open Lady Debug and Balancer Lord, you can end on the same board and get a free draw.
Code Talkers have the fairest Extra Link, and they are super fun!
Code Talker Invert is an amazing card when paired with Cynet Codec. The only downside, is you cannot use his effect if you don't already have a Cyberse monster in your hand when he is Link Summoned, before you search.
I wonder how the ruling would work out if your opponent challenged the fact that you used his effect without having that monster in your hand before you searched.
Yep, I know about that combo, I mentioned it in this reply. I basically exchanged a protection (Synchron) for 1 more Extra Deck slot, and a draw for a Clock Wyvern.
And I think the ruling with Invert is that if you don't have any Cyberse in your hand and attempted to trigger Invert, and the opponent randomly Ghost Ogre'd your Codec or something like that, it would end in a game loss (I think? Or is that too harsh?) because you can't trigger Invert in the first place. That's why I made sure I kept the Archiver in my hand until the Gadget was summoned.
You are not allowed to even attempt to activate invert without having something to summon beforehand.
Yeah that's what I thought. But the hand isn't public knowledge so people can use this to their advantage, can't they?
If there is a good reason to believe that it was activated illegally, you can ask a judge to quickly confirm.
The judge will also assign the appropriate penalty if it was: Either a PE minor if deemed unintentional or a UC Cheating otherwise.
Can you share the setup you have for YGOPro? I love the Vrains era duel disk style.
Sure.
I don't remember where I got those from but I didn't make them so don't credit me on them.

Cool. I hate it
now we just need a slightly better end result and everything will be hakuna
OH AND ALSO LIKE HALF THE CARDS IN THIS VIDEO IN THE TCG KONAMI PLEASE
Master Link pls konmai
sobs oh it's beautiful...
It's not possible to search the Counter mid-combo while simultaneously doing a EX Link, isn't it?
If you opened with Lady Debug & Codec instead of Coder, you can just search Conflict with Coder instead.
Off topic: what site or program is this from?
It's YGOPro Percy. You can find the download link on their discord.
I’ve been out of loop for a few years now. What is the emulator the people use nowadays that has a ranking system? I want to try to jump back in!
Duelingbook has a ranking system. Just google Duelingbook and you should find it.
I have away for so long I need an automated emulator
YGOPro and Dueling Nexus are both automatic, but they don't have a ranking system. You should try Dueling Nexus, it's better for a new/returning player than YGOPro.
Can I get those backgrounds images and the skin layout?
Nice combo. Mind if I ask how you make combo videos like this? I mean the normal YGOPro doesn't let you set up specific cards in hand right
It does.
So for example for this video, the combo use the 2 cards Lady Debug & Micro Coder. So I make a new deck and put in those two first. Then find the stuff that you use mid-combo and put it after those two cards. Now DON'T press Sort, and save the deck.
Then make another new deck, just add whatever you want in.
Then you create a LAN Server room, check the "don't shuffle deck" and "don't check deck" options, and make the starting hand become 2 cards. Then you open a second YGOPro window and join your own LAN Server (it should be there, if not press Refresh). Then just duel (one use the first deck and the other window uses the second), and after you finish save the replay and record it with whatever you have. I use Bandicam.
omg thank you so much. I tried and it worked.

Yeah cool, nobody cares.
Nope, it wouldn't drag the duels any longer.
If you actually play the metagame instead of just sitting behind a rock complaining about things you don't know about, you will realize that doing so doesn't change shit.

Code Talkers aren't even meta. And the one in the video (that will be out next month) likely isn't going to change that.
And honestly, even though the game right now has seen better days, on the other hand, it's pretty hard to get worse than a "being poked to death by an evil crow" meta.

Your name says it all. Disgusting!
I still don't get what you're trying to say.
What?

What do you mean? One of who? You aren't making any sense.
Who needs Cyberse? The game doesn't.
Honestly? I ain't even mad. If anything, I'm impressed.
Doesn't make Code Talkers meta, and I'm sure the board can be broken easily enough. Only one of the EMZs is protected by Transcode's targeting protection, and neither of them is protected by Excode's destruction protection. That's a perfectly acceptable Extra Link imo.
Now, if you manage to fit Cerberus in there somewhere to give everything destruction protection, that'll be a problem.
Yep, the board can be easily broken, which is what I like about the Code Talkers' Extra Link. They have decent protection but not outright busted like the Knightmares.
Also, there is another 2-card Extra Link combo that ends with one more layer of protection. (being Cyberse Synchron in the grave.) That one however requires specifically Balancer Lord in the grave before getting out Wicckid, and it requires you to play Wicckid and Integrator which are useless outside the combo. I want to use both combos in one deck but... freaking Extra Deck space man.
