The symbols feel familiar somehow, but I can't pinpoint what or where from.

Do believe they are in the same place as caves. Hmm.
1
Spiders deep in the mines

Top right marker in this one is righton top of Fortuna elevator though?
1
Almost, but not quite. The icon in the top right of 'C' here is right outside of the elevator to Fortuna, while the closest cave is further east near the pipes.

Have all the sectors been solved? I suspect they might not release the update until they've been put together.
2
I think we are only missing “A”
3
I haven't found a solved version of Sector A, though a friend is working on it.
EDIT: And there's his post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/ayjfeh/sector_a_solved/

So they are holding my update hostage? Do i call the internet swat?
2
No, the update is being held back by development stuff. If it was just a "sit on our laurels until they figure it out" update, then Meg and Danelle wouldn't have called off Primetime.
These are likely either intended to postpone, or help with, the Tactical Alert "Buried Debts" that's coming this update.

wait, I must be missing something, where did all this come from.

This is all new to me too

I went to the one in the far corner, and I found one of the small spiders doing something I had never seen before, hanging from some blue cable.
