More specifically the utilization of the SS symbol, not the iron cross but the SS symbol. I don't think this person was reported or not because he has a lot of games and a high level but some dude is using the SS symbol as his name but has his account on private. Is the symbol against the rules?

If you use the sources that steam provides you with for example like this: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197960412635/ then you should be fine. If you upload custom images(from yourself or the internet with such symbols) you are probally going to get banned or at least punished once you get reported by insecure people.

Why? Unironically using the SS symbol on your profile is really in poor taste. I would be fine with the iron cross, or anything like that but having a dude with an SS symbol arguing about german superiority is unsettling

It's not apart of a game though, it's specifically his name. Not to mention no game on steam uses the SS symbol. The closest thing could be hearts of Iron but they only use the iron cross
I could be wrong but I think its in the Wolfenstein series so I do not believe it is true that no game at all on steam uses it.
If its the symbol I think it is then its on the like shoulders of the uniforms BJ and the other agent are wearing shown in the prologue for old blood at least that are used to get into the compound trying to steal a folder from the ss leader.
Probably on other uniforms too but it being on your character was when I noticed it.

hearts of Iron 4 has the iron cross, not the SS symbol I believe with the exception of modding
