A Vinyl disc.
It plays music for you when you use it with a jukebox, which you build like so:
[P][P][P]
[P][D][P]
[P][P][P]
P= Planks
D= Diamond

Ahh, thanks! I thought it looked a bit like a record, but I dismissed that idea as silly - I didn't realise that jukeboxes existed!

In my hand and in the first slot of my tool bar. I found this black disc with a yellow centre in a dungeon's chest. Couldn't work out what it is on minepedia... is it new?
Also: All that glass in front of me is my zombie-harvester that I built under a dungeon. Took an hour or so to tune it up, but its working pretty well now!

I lost my only record to a creeper while shifting some stuff between bases. Oh well, they always look so sad, I hope it cheered up one of his creeper mates after he blew us both up.

that would be a record, you have to build a record player to play it.
