The Met have updated their stickers so they’re now in colour! The PC’s that gave it to me seemed excited by this so I thought I’d share it here.

But Police Scotland have already taken part!

I can't believe they brought them back; for a while at my station the rumour was you'd be stuck on if found in possession of a roll.

Edit: spelling

Stuck on for what?

Possessing articles to cause criminal damage, I suspect.

I’m not sure if your being serious.....

After the riots a lot of the counties were quite upset that their vehicles got absolutely plastered with them and complained to the Met. Bosses took a very dim view as it's technically criminal damage.

Someone did get done after the riots, I remember hearing at the time. South Wales or summat made a stink about it.

I still have some classic ones for that special opportunity...

You have the old school ones?!

Absolutely... for a deserving occasion...

Might sound a bit of a silly question, but what are they?

Stickers you can get from Met police officers - generally used by Met police officers to indicate that they've been on mutual aid to another force by sticking them on every surface they can get away with

But more commonly stuck on vehicles attending mutual aid in the met 💰💰

Its a bit like a dog pissing on the wheels of a car as it passes by. Personally I don't think the average met officer can help themselves; they're genetically hardwired to do it.

Obviously gave this to the ASU to do the colouring in...if it had been the ARVs/TSG everything would've been outside the lines

I have two rolls of these to take to New York. Can't. Wait.

Missing an opportunity for an "Argos Catalogue" moment there with that German Shepherd ;)
