PSA: If you get stuck in Star Citizens geometry, use an emote like "/sit" to possibly spare you some nerves

... and also lower the risk of rage quits XD

It may not always work and can be fatal in rare cases... but at least you tried :P

The other day I crawled through a gap in a cave, realized it was a dead end and went back.... but couldnt crawl through the the same gap from the other side. After about 20 minutes I wiggled to the right, very odd, very specific angle I needed to get out.

This tip would have probably helped, wish I knew it a few days ago lol you may still save me tons of time in the future though thanks for this

Happened to me too. They probably should patch up the caves a little more so that you get stuck less, as terrifyingly realistic as that could be.

Well, first of all I think theyll be improving the caves for a while, this is only the first iteration.

But also, I like the idea of possibly getting stuck because it adds another layer of risk... yeah you can probably crawl through that small hole, but you might get stuck and die here, is that a risk you're willing to take for whatever might be on the other side? Without that possibility, the only risk to going into a cave is NPCs or other players, but I like the idea of spelunking itself being dangerous, just like it is in real life.

Maybe once they finish the mechanic where you drag someone to safety, we can use that to pull each other out of places we get stuck, making the buddy system useful or providing another reason to make a beacon asking for assistance.

Or when you can't emote, because you're stuck "falling", pull out your gun, that should push you out of it.

Weirdest one would be the /rude one that shows the middle finger. Unstuck by showing the middle finger to the geometry trap :P
