Most traumatizing wrestling moment as a child?
Storyline stuff here, no actual deaths or anything like that.
For me, mine came in 1993.. 6 year old me was a huge fan of Crush at the time, particularly when he was almost able to lift up Yokozuna on the USS intrepid.. The following week he received a title shot against Yokozuna I had to see it. At the time I would only be able to watch a bit of Raw since my bedtime came as the show started. My mom was strict about that stuff and my dad who was always watching raw didn't really care. I was able to convince my mom to let me stay up late to see Crush challenge for the title.
The match was close for a while then Mr. Fuji interfered and it was over for Crush.. Yokozuna Bonzai dropped him for the win and then hit a few more for good measure..
At this time in my mind the Bonzai drop was absolutely devastating.. Nobody ever kicked out of it, and if Yoko gave someone a second one, they were going to be out for a while or never seen again..
Yoko hit Crush with 4 of them and Crush was ultimately taken out on a stretcher, not to be seen again for months.. I cried hysterically since it was obvious that Crush was either already dead, or he would die on the way to the hospital.

By far it was the Jake's cobra biting Randy Savage's arm on WWF Superstars. Watching that as a young kid after Saturday morning cartoons, when the "censored" X sign flashed, it was so scary and disturbing.
Another Jake moment for me ... when Earthquake smooshed Damian. They had it on the Saturday morning show, and when Earthquake was about to land, it cut to Mean Gene going OOOOOOHHHH and wincing. Although I had seen it "uncensored" before, Mean Gene's reactions made it feel far worse.
I actually believe it was Mooney.. it's ingrained in my brain haha
I can still hear my grandma shrieking in terror while watching that when I was like 7 years old.
The one that messed me up was Earthquake squashing Jake’s first snake Damien.
Mine was close- when he locked Warrior in with the snakes.... I stopped was 6 when I saw it... took a little while before I would watch wrestling again.

Hell yeah. I got so excited and upset that my mother had to run into the den to make sure I was okay.
Anything with Jake.
Chewing on savage, when he(I feel like taker was there to? ) trapped the warrior and the cobra came out. Then when earthquake killed damien.
Edit, went back and watched the warrior bit. It's better than I remembered. Especially since it's not in 280p resolution lol.
Yep, that and Earthquake squashing Damian. That big red X and CENSORED on the screen with the snake angle, and them cutting back to Mooney in the control center reacting to Damian getting squashed both were quite disturbing as a kid.
There was no censored X sign for me when I saw it
