I have to say, some nice Cases at the Sub $100 price point, this hitting $50 is icing on the cake.

I don't think anything can touch this at $50 right now. Only complaint is that it only comes with a single rear fan.

Some of those thermaltake cases would reach 50, but this one is good enough as well.

Note this is not the Focus G Mini

I'm unable to find the Focus Mini on the Fractal site, this appears to be an OEM "lite" version. Key differences appear to be:

  • One rear black 120mm fan (versus 2x front white led fans in Focus G line).

  • Single 5.25 bay (versus 2 in Focus G line).

This case is exactly the same as the thermaltake Versa H15

If I hAve the thermaltake versa h17, guessing this isnt really worth the upgrade?

If you want to go through the trouble of moving all your hardware to a new case, I'd make it a worthwhile upgrade. If you're looking for mATX, nothing less than a Meshify C Mini. You'd get great airflow so it might actually have a positive impact on performance too.

The Define C Mini is also a good option. The TG version is currently 99.99$ at Memory Express.

Yeah good point! I was actually looking into swapping to the meshify C! Only qualm I have with this case too is I don't think I can fit 2 140mm fans at the front (I have 2 on my Versa right now)

Will have a look at the define C mini as well, thank you!

You can fit 2x140mm in front of the Meshify C Mini if your PSU is not too long. You can move the HDD bay back a bit and remove the left cover and it will allow you to install them.

I have this case (Focus G, has the 2 drive bays and 2 fans). Quite nice, would recommend, lots of airflow/options for fans and you can remove the hard drive trays at the bottom to help even more with airflow. There's only so much you can do with this price point and I'd say Fractal Design did a good job - even better when it's on sale.

The issue is finding a decent MATX motherboard to go with it. Not a huge amount of selection.
