Higher tiers for Ops were mentioned in the dev blog last year, but haven't seen an update since then. Have enjoyed using T8 in Ops a lot but have plenty of 9s and 10s I'd like to use in them too.

The ability to play Operations with Tier VIII ships was warmly received by players, and we got requests to add higher Tier ships. We are considering this possibility, but first and foremost we need to solve some technical issues.

Currently have a Bissell upright which is coming up on around 7-8 years old, time for something new. Have hard (smooth, no grout) floors only, no carpet or pets. EDIT: no stairs either.

Based on this chart I should be looking at a canister unit. Hesitant on a cannister unit due to past poor experience with a previous 90s black/grey Kenmore cannister unit (poor suction even with new bags and bad handle/short hose), however I see people really like the Mieles so I'm willing to give it another shot.

Looking at this chart I like the "Complete C2" based on the wide hard floor tool in the picture. My current Bissell

A heads up for those trying to play a custom map in multiplayer (galaxy forge) in Sins of the Solar Empire Rebellion and receiving the following errors:

"You do not have the files needed for this game"

"Your galaxy scenario version differs from the host"

If you are sharing the map to others though an application such as Discord, be aware it changes the file name for the receiver sometimes. Had this exact issue with a friend we kept coming back to until I found another Reddit post pointing to the filename. I'm now making this post to save others the headache.

Double check the file names are identical for you and the other person(s) you are trying to host a multiplayer game f

Making my own CoH2 tuning pack for comp stomp games, I've got the resource side figured out and working (can be adjusted under "army" category for those wondering, popcap and resource rate).

My next objectives are removing the the Heavy Tank Limit and increasing the Zoom Out Limit.

I managed to remove the limit for the American tank, but the same method (delete "required_not" in the "requirements" of the m26 ability) is not working for any of the other heavy tanks. There are other mods which do this for all heavy tanks, any idea how they managed it?

Also want to increase Zoom Out amount, I know it can be done through the map scar file but would rather roll it into this tuning pack. No

"We have a small problem here, I have $X, thats fine right?

"I could run to an ATM if you want..."

"We just realized we only have $X because <blah blah>"

"I've only got $X with me, is that ok?"

This game is getting very old and tiring, and almost every other buyer is trying it anymore. Let me clarify how this works:

  1. We agree to a time and place, we both then show up as agreed on both conditions. We don't last minute reschedule over and over.

  2. We agree to a price beforehand, you then show up with that amount. Not the amount minus 10% or missing a $20 or a $10 bill. We both know you have it in the car, or worse you now waste my time while you go to an A

Managed to get Star Trek Armada 1 working on PlayOnLinux under Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, works decently well for 2 decade old software! Blew my mind how effortless this was, previously I had used a very old laptop (HP Elitebook 2560p) with Win XP to run it.

I have a few questions though:

  1. What are some common settings to adjust or tweak for the best compatibility or performance when running old games, is there a guide I should be referencing? Most I found are related to other games, can't find much for this one specifically.

  2. How big is the performance hit for this emulation/virtualization? The old Elitebook with an mobile i5 2nd ge
