I'm looking to lean down a good bit. In particular I have a bachelor's party in April and a wedding (that I'm attending) in May where I will be seeing a lot of old friends.

I've been lifting regularly for over 3 years now, so I'll probably just stick with what I'm doing. I see little need to get much bulkier than I am now, but we'll see how I look with a lower body fat.

My diet is based off of Tim Ferris' 4 Hour Body. I did a variation of this diet a few years back and was fairly successful. Since then I've probably put on 15-20 lbs of muscle with 5-10 labs of fat.

I'm following Ferris' advice pretty close to the letter for my diet, which is essentially a low-carb diet with one cheat day. I have hope for it's success because there is no real caloric restriction (the focus is more on macro-nutrients, though that's not how Ferris explains it), and whenever I get a craving for something I just put it on my mental list to have it on my cheat day. My diet has been pretty crappy lately and whenever I try and get a good habit going I only go about a week before I cave in and do something horrible for my body, like eat an entire pizza followed by a pint of ice cream. I figure the best kind of diet is the one you can maintain.

I actually started on Sunday, and if I'd seen this then I could have put my starting weight at 207. Now all the water weight is off so these will be the pounds that really count.

I've been keeping track of my body measurements and lifting stats here.

The BF and other measurements are going to have some "noise", as I'm the one taking the readings and I don't know what I'm doing. You'll notice I already had a diet started for the new year which failed miserably by the middle of the month. Turns out serious caloric restriction is not for me.

End date: April 21st
