Rick and Morty is actually pretty great! (With issues)

Fluff

If you can get yourself a huge play area where the camera is really high up and you stand really far back, you can actually get the proper tracking for this game.

Don't bother with it otherwise, but if you have that room, this game is great! It's creative as hell. It's like Job Simulator on steroids with a Rick and Morty theme.

I've had a ton of fun messing around in the garage and seeing what things I can make, what things I can get a MeeSeeks to grab for me, ect. I can understand people with limited space having frustrations with it, though. It requires more area than maybe any other PSVR game I've tried.

Agreed. I have an ok space for VR, but had to hold start to trick the game quite a few times. I feel like this was still in early days of VR, so their next game seemed to have a lot less space issues.

If you liked the humor, but want a longer game with less technical issues, Trover Saves the Universe is on sale starting tomorrow. A good way to keep your sanity during these trying times^^

Yeah, I played Trover back when it came out but didn't try Rick and Morty until just now. I kept hunting for a cheap physical copy of the game and got one like a month ago.

They did a better job of moving Job Simulator over to PSVR than Rick and Morty, that's for sure. But it shouldn't be missed by any fan who has the space or could put up with tricking the game with your position/height.

This game was more of an experience rather than a game :) but fucking amazing nonetheless

Yeah it's definitely Job Simulator 2.0, but I like it more than Job Simulator because of that workbench and the insane amount of combinations you can come up with.

Have the tracking issues been patched at all? Read bad things early on. Trover saves the universe is on sale also so picking that up for sure

The game was patched at some point, but it's clear that it was ported from PCVR without nearly as much care as Job Simulator.

It requires a very large space because the camera has to be far as hell from you in order to not lose the colored bulbs, due to the way the game is laid out. It requires a lot of crouching down to grab things, reaching up, ect.

You can turn with X and O, but you'll still be bending and turning physically a lot, so it's very easy to lose sight of the bulbs.

I was so ready to delete this game because of the tracking and then I rearranged my setup to have a bigger space and just wow. I'm now trying to combine every single thing in that garage lol.

lol! Nice. It's a really fun game when the technical crap stops.

Yeah, it was clear that they didn't make good changes to layouts and stuff like they did with Job Simulator, but as long as the camera can see your hands at all times, it still mostly works.

What? This game is garbage. If you want a Rick and morty type game get trover saves the universe

Played it. It was fun!

This is a very different kind of game, though. What was garbage about it to you? You don't like tinkering with shit in the garage?

My bet is that Xeons setup was garbage.

I enjoyed it! But not as much as Job Simulator.
