.3mf and cura help
I've been trying to make myself a jigsaw with thanks to u/forester22running who made a cool grand canyon puzzle (see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/hili6s/after_lots_of_time_designing_testing_and_a_little/)
However when I go to print a test piece (or a group of them) when I import the .3mf file into Cura it won't slice because it says the build volume is too big. As seen in my screenshot below it is making the piece way bigger then it is:

I thought maybe because the Microsoft Builder piece was way away from 0,0 but moving it didn't help. I tried saving as a .stl instead of .3mf and i'm printing it now but it does lose options in separating out the pieces and seemed to lose a bit of quality so would prefer to keep it native .3mf if possible. Any-one know why it comes out like this and how to fix it?

The 3mf is built up a bit weird. It seems to have every single piece of the puzzle in a "nested" node. Cura sees these as grouped nodes (but grouped nodes of one).
This is indeed a bit weird behavior, so i'm going to discuss it with the rest.
As a work around; select the object, right mouse and press "ungroup".
Ok thanks a lot I'll give it a shot
I've just fixed this for the next release (4.7)
Wow thanks, haven't had a chance to try work around yet. Need her indoors to get out of the house for awhile so I can have a play
