I can't get over seeing these in the wild (I work for no.22) hope you keep enjoying it!
ratio? elevation? time? u gotta give us stats if u wanna show off an achievement like that
Ratio: 49x18. Elevation: About 1500ft, started from sea level, steady 5%. Here are the stats: https://imgur.com/a/VUir3E3
I paused just after the start of the climb to flip my wheel around from 49x16 to 49x18, and flipped it back for the descent. I think I would have preferred to have a lower gear but this was all I had available.
damn. you got STATS! nice job yo
Total elevation gain?
Ratio buddy! 49x18 for 3-5% is such a nice climbing ratio.
Just curious—how much does your Little Wing weigh? Obviously doesn’t look to be a build for weight, just curious what a build like this would come out to.
In its track setup (so delete the brake levers, brake, saddle bag, bottle cage, and change the bars and cog) it was 15.6lb / 7.1kg. Will have to reweigh the road setup sometime. This is the 56cm frame.
Note that at the time I built it the "default" Little Wing configuration came with a fork with a carbon steer tube and no brake hole. I wanted one that was drilled for a brake, so they sourced one with an aluminum steer tube instead since there wasn't really anything matching all the parameters of the original full carbon one that was also drilled.
I see. Thanks. This thing is my dream bike even though I already own my dream bike hahaha
Not sure if you caught the edit but I made the same typo the first time I posted the weight in the linked thread... 15.6lb final answer.
I've had more than one dream in my life!
if one of these ever came up for sale on ebay for a decent price, my second dream would come true. trust me.
Well, shit, I drove to the top and it felt like hard work. I salute you.
