Don't know why you were downvoted for that...but the kitten is fake. It's a toy or something.

I came here to be all like "Oh noez your cat is fucked up thats sad :"

then I saw you were lying so I decided to take a few pics of my amputee cat.

http://imgur.com/a/oI81s#yah2G

Fuck you good sir, my cat is missing his back right foot.

When you scratch the right side of his head he makes an awkward kicking motion as if he is scratching it himself.

46
slightlyoddOP•

Yeah, well I just went and amputated BOTH my kitten's legs.

10
jmchao•

Did you fry 'em up to make kitten drumsticks?

6

Joke's on you. I just amputated all four legs of my kitten I made up for the internets!

3
EDGAR_ALLAN_PWN•

You had no choice. He made you do it.

1
MuffinBaskt•

I wanna get in on this too.

My brother's cat.

4
btraina•

"When you scratch the right side of his head he makes an awkward kicking motion as if he is scratching it himself."

My 4 legged dog does that too. I think it is just a reaction.

3
enigmaurora•

My 5-legged dog does it too. How strange.

2
babyinthebathwater•

My 6-legged cat is actually a bug.

5
Ichiinu•

My 8 legged pyro is a fireproof spider.

1
srs_house•

Ummmm, that's not a leg.

1
marshal_mellow•

He doesn't ever do it with the other leg.

And the reason I figured this out is that when he was a kitten he would try to scratch himself seemingly unaware of the fact that his leg wasn't long enough to reach his head. He was so fucking pathetic looking that'd I'd just scratch him whenever he did it.

He quickly learned that if he makes a pointless scratching motion while I can see him, he'll get scratched for real, so sometimes after I stop scratching him he'll keep doing it and meowing and just generally being a dick because he doesn't want me to stop. Fuck you cat I can't scratch behind your ear all day.

1
hysro•

what?

1
marshal_mellow•

My cat lost part of his back right leg due to complications at birth. He hobbles around just fine on the other three legs.

Also, added line breaks in parent comment, to make it make sense maybe. (its 3 am I can't write)

When one of my cats had a litter of kittens, the runt would drag it's bag legs like that. We feared it would eventually die and some suggested we euthanize her. A month later, she gained enough muscle in her legs and now she's 2 years old and is probably the most active cat I've ever had. Hang in there lil' Lewis.

I had a kitten like that. She had some movement in her legs. Her name was Zooey, and we had to give her back to the people who gave us to her 3 days later because their paraplegic daughter was throwing a hissyfit. I miss her terribly..even if she did shit and piss everywhere. Not that I blame her.

2
lucky5150•

Believe it or not, he may end up walking just fine, I was watching a litter of 5 puppies a while back, and every single one of them walked around like this for over the first month that they could walk. slowly they all began walking more normally, until finally all but one was walking normal. the one i'm referring to must have walked like this for 3 months, we thought it was permanent but slowly but surely he ended up walking just fine to. it's been over 8 or 9 years now since then, and they are all perfectly normal, they walk, run, jump, and play constantly. i'm not sure if that is going to happen to your kitten, but, I suppose it is a possibility =)

2
Dorfidiot•

Oh my god, i want to eat it! Is that wrong?

2
schroefoe•

I know your other posts say you're kidding, but I thought this could be helpful for people who do have kittens that do this all the time. I had a kitten with a single leg like this and it turned out to be "swimmer's leg". Doc put a tiny little cast on him that allowed him to walk around normally and gain strength/train the muscles and tendons. Took the wrappings off after a week or so and he was right as rain!
