Speak for yourself. I was stressing like crazy over all of the particulars of my first kiss. Then again, I haven't had any of this "sex" thing that seems to be going around these days, so...
I think there's more of the possibility of kissing wrong compared to sex. I mean, there's porn to get a basic understanding of the ol' in and out, but kissing is sorta instinct.
My first kiss was the Summer of 2000. I was 14 years old and attending summer camp at Duke University. It was the last night of camp and we were having a big party on the quad. I was nervous - there was music playing, people dancing, all sorts of stuff that I generally was not particularly interested in. I tried to look busy, walking around the quad in circles holding my drink.
A girl came up to me that night, after the sun had set behind the trees. I recognized her, but we had never spoken that much. I started to sweat, either from anxiety or the humidity present in a North Carolina summer. What did she want with me? I was a chubby, awkward nerd. She asked if I wanted to kiss. My heart started pounding. This is a joke, right? I looked around to see if anybody was watching, waiting to pounce on me making a fool of myself. Part of me was saying no, don't do it, wait until you meet someone you actually know and care about. Another part said screw it, you haven't had a chance like this in your entire life, go for it.
So I went for it.
I managed to tell her sure, why not? I mean, if you want to, then sure, I'm game. I leaned in and started going... for her cheek. She smiled and said no, on the lips. I smiled back and said oh, OK, and dove in.
It was short - a fraction of a second - but fireworks went off in my head. My first reaction was, wow, lips are soft! Softer than anything I'd ever felt. My second reaction was one of total relief. I was terrified that I'd grow up like my aunt, forever alone, and would never kiss a girl, go on a date, get a girlfriend, or get married. This was the first step down that road and I had done it. I was normal now. I was just like everybody else. I sheepishly stammered out a t-thanks and shuffled off, grinning like an idiot the rest of the night, proud of what I'd accomplished.
I learned later that night that she was kissing many people at the party and that I wasn't anything special. It was fine - I didn't know her, she didn't know me, and it was probably better that way. But that was my first kiss, dammit, and I was ecstatic.
That was 11 years ago. I just turned 26 yesterday. In the time since, despite my efforts, I have not been on a date, I have not gotten a girlfriend, and I have not gotten married. I'm still chubby, still the same nerd I was back then, and that night in North Carolina was, to this date, my first and only time to kiss a girl.

First kisses are always somehow magical when you find the right person. Maybe I've seen too many 1980's romantic comedies but every first kiss I've ever had with a woman I care about plays out like that. You get caught in the rain, you offer her your jacket or something corny like that.
First time having sex with someone you've never had sex with is typically horrible at best and good luck actually getting off. It's going to be so awkward that all you think about is how awkward it is and just hope you can make her reach her destination and then finish yourself off later.
So first kisses are better. I love sex. I hate the first one or two times with a new partner until we get to know what each other like.
The memory I remember more is the first kiss, the first time I had sex really wasn't the memorable.
My first kiss was... odd. When I lost my virginity it was... odd. Neither have had a significant impact on who I am as a person.
Still haven't done either, maybe I'll be able to get back to you some day.

First kiss. Big dance, lots of people around, girl was a year ahead of me in school. We knew each other a bit from around school and her living up the street from my best friend's place, but hadn't gone together to the dance. Ended up dancing because my buddy wanted to dance with her friend. We ended up hitting it off and talking most of the evening.
Then we're dancing and it goes from fast to slow songs, just like in the movies/on TV. We ended up kissing. I was nervous as all get out.
First sexy times was with a chick I went to high school who I barely knew who was just after my dick. I had just broken up with girl mentioned above and was a little down. I had just had knee surgery and couldn't get around very well. This girl shows up unannounced with this horrendous stuffed tiger and starts awkwardly putting the moves on me. I let it happen, and before I knew it was sexing her up. Apparently, it was her first time, too, and she was all freaked out because it wasn't "special". I found out later, she just wanted to not be a virgin after high school and I was the first guy to show interest (by not being a dick).
She came back the next day for more, then we didn't see each other for like 8 months when she tried to tell me she was 3 months pregnant with my baby. She wasn't crazy, per se, just lonely, I think.
TL;DR - Made out with a mermaid and fucked her brains out within a day while sucking on oranges to stave off the scurvy, mateys.
