Using an XBox One Controller

Help

I've been using an XBox 360 wired controller with no problems for a while, and recently I wanted to try using an XBox One controller (the newer ones so it has Bluetooth) and was able to get it to sync. When using OpenEmu, it seems like the controller is flaky and doesn't work all the time, but if I exit and quit OpenEmu and take the batteries out of the controller then turn it back on and re-open OpenEmu it works for a while. I also noticed that it seems to work ok with NES and SNES games, but when trying to use Mame it never works.

Is there anything else I might need to do to get this to work with my wireless controller? if not I can stick with wired but I am more used to the XBox One controller for my console gaming so I wanted to make it work here as well.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You could probably connect the Xbox one controller with a cable. That’s how I was doing it for a while and I never had any issues

I'll give that a try, thanks.
