Hello fellow EPIC Gamers!

It's ok if you complain about dumb stuff

But you should not start complaining about stuff that You think is dumb... (Like Neymar Jr being the secret skin... Saying that nobody cares about him is just stupid, somone ought to like the colab right, + if only the views of the majority is taken into account, then stuff that others like would be totally disregarded)

Devoloping a game like FN is really not that easy... I'm rather surprised that there are so few bugs in the game... Unlike a traditional shooter, FN has unique mechanisms that invites a tonne of bugs, but EPIC'S been able to control most of them...

"Fix Your Game" what is there to fix?? Lag in endgames Because people build too much?? There is literally nothing that can be done to stop such lag... The Dev's can't just nerf building (Then the player base would complain again) the only thing that could be done is to improve server tech which is a gradual process

The Dev's are probably working on fixing current bugs n glitches the Strom would also probably get fixed in the comming updates...

Imagine if fortnite was innthe hands of activision, imagine 7 invisibility glitches

There was performance issues on pc that made the game nearly unplayable at the beginning of the season. Since the community made epic aware of it they were able to fix it pretty fast.

Twitter is just full of complaining. The game may not be in its best state rn, but it certainly isnt dying.

I just wish if there were patch notes. What’s so hard about making them

18
ShadyMan_:eternalvoyager: Eternal Voyager•

In chapter 1, people would complain about changes before even trying them out. So they got rid of them

4

Doesn't mean we can't have em still

8
ENJOi-i:ikonik: IKONIK•

Not to mention those complaining kids were also sending the guy who did the patch notes death threats, that's the real reason they got rid of patch notes

6
Mrihate•

A lot of devs provide patch notes regardless of toxicity. Patch notes are needed so we know dps and info. Other devs make epics devs look like sensitive crybabies

A_Pyroshark:slumber: Slumber•

It certainly isn't dying. There are 4 main factors I think of. are there plenty of servers? yes. Is it consistently making money? yes. Is it in the press and people talk about it? yes. Are the player counts high? also yes.

It is hard to work from home, just like my parents they now work 13 hours a day instead of 7. Also spreading positivity will be a great action to do, instead of mocking or saying that the developers are incompetent

Most problems that are complained about have been in the game long before covid was a thing. Also the most requested solution (separating lootpools) is a solution that 1 developer could perform in a matter of minutes. Can we stop using covid as an excuse for the problems in this game

1†
Tattierverbose•

First off, why does arena need a separate loot pool?

Second, covid isn't the main reason anymore, but it's still a reason none the less. If part of your team of, for example, programmers contracts the virus then a good portion of an update suddenly has to be focused on instead of other aspects.

0
Chippie92:merrymarauder: Merry Marauder•

Arena needs a separate lootpool so that all the OP items that people complain about aren't in the game, yet they can still be in pubs so regular players can enjoy them. Everybody happy, no drawbacks to this solution but for whatever reason epic only limits itself to very minimal changes between the two gamemodes

And I can understand it's a reason but the separating of lootpools really shouldnt take significant time and resources. They can just hotfix it, it's barely any effort for covid to have an inpact on this

2
Tattierverbose•

So, basically, just remove the mythics from Arena and most would stop complaining?

0

As much as they are a company (and should be treated as such). i feel people need to understand that time constraints are huge factor in why the features they want either don't get implemented, or do but at a later date. Game development is hard, and i won't try to pretend i know anything, but what i do know is that stuff takes time to make, the world won't end if we don't get a patch every two weeks or so and i really don't understand why some people don't get that.

[deleted]•

Back in chapter 1, in order to get weekly updates out with brand new poi’s and weapons, they had to overwork the employees. When employees came out about it, the community said “ we don’t care if updates take 2-3 weeks or lack content, as long as you don’t overwork your employees, that’s fine just take your time epic”

That’s why as soon as chapter 2 started, updates were every 2 weeks and had less content because they listened and gave employees less hours and went at a steady pace. Now the community is pissed that they did that and some want them to work 100 hours a week on updates so it goes back to weekly filled with content updates. That’s why I think the community should be more chill to epic about updates and understand why it changed update wise.

17

Agreed, while chapter 1 was great, it also WASN'T healthy for the employees, and i really don't want them to ever go back to that, no matter how many people want their weekly updates back.

9
Gulutito:grimbles: Grimbles•

I think we need balance, 3 weeks for an update with one new weapon and 4 new skins its not good in my opnion (like it was in the past season) but one update each week with 16 new skins and 7 new pois its too much even for the players.

6
Natorior:surfstrider: Surf Strider•

The updates during the beginning of c2 were kinda pointless though. People were complaining about there being nothing to do in the game. Epic spent time changing an engine that nobody really noticed a difference with, rather than adding content to the game. People weren’t really complaining about the update schedule; they were complaining about the lack of substantial updates. This only got worse because of how long c2s1 was.

1
17Megatons:frostbite: Frostbite•

Granted, they did just get done with a whole new map with mechanics, textures, assets, locations, ect. All of this would take tons of time and planning alongside updating the current map. I'm assuming Epic's plan was to have the employees take a free season. Though, they probably didn't expect the season to be so long. Since they didn't have any further plans they would have to stretch content of a relatively short season over the course of one of the longest.

1
zarrzarrus•

Epic is trying to make money off people like this sub. Not trying to make their game better

Yeah that's true. The game was very alive in C2S2 ironically. But what I meant is that it was trending a year ago and I remember seeing this guy's post a year ago when it was trending a year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/FortNiteBR/comments/fzuulf/fortnite_is_nowhere_near_dead_with_3_million/

Fortnite wasn't even suposse to be competitive to begin with but it atracted a competive comunity

2†
RoyaleAbsol:bundles: Bundles•

Just because it wasn't meant to be, doesn't mean it can't be. All Epic have to do is separate the loot pools which people have been suggesting for AGES now bc Eoic just turn a blind eye to the suggestion. If the last few seasons have shown anything, it's that Epic certainly know how to make a good loot pool for comp considering the casual side complained about how bland it was, it would be perfect for comp bc on their side, its more about skill than just random BS that they don't need clogging the loot pool. Put the crazy shit in pubs for casuals to enjoy and have a more streamlined loot pool for comp.

It's such an easy idea that'll undoubtedly make a LOT of people happy on both sides but nope, because when Epic decides to make changes to appeal to one side of the community, they decide the OTHER side just has to suffer with it.

6
Gulutito:grimbles: Grimbles•

Yeah lol, i really cant understand why epic dont separate the loot pools

1
Chippie92:merrymarauder: Merry Marauder•

Such a dumb comment. Epic has said from the beginning that they'd support a competitive scene if one would arise. They put in an lackluster effort in terms of competitive integrity for years now (especially if you compare it with other esports) so it's kinda understandable that many pro's complain

I was wondering who could be using the Funk Ops skin on the sub, if it ain’t my friend Funky 🗿

I still think separating lootpools between casual and arena. Let casual have wacky, questionably balanced lootpool and let arena have the balanced boring lootpool. This way, you please casuals and sweats alike.

My summarization of what’s happening

Comp players can’t make money off of little kids gambling anymore so they think starting a # will change the law :)

Not complaining, but just want to ask if any one have this problem, since season 6 started, my fps drop like crazy and can't in play in 60 fps, literally 20 now

1
Firemness< ACTIVATED >•

I always see people getting lower fps on new seasons, every season, probably with 16.10 or something the issue will be fixed. I don' t have any problems though

1
Mr-let:fishstick: Fishstick•

Idk, because of this, i haven't played fortnite for a few days, cuz it is so frustrated to play game in this situation 😕

1
Firemness< ACTIVATED >•

That sucks, especially since the season is very good in my opinion. Next week there will be an update, so at least you don' t have to wait too much to see if it' s fixed!

You can also try and see now as well, maybe they released a maintenance patch so it would fix fps issues as well

1
Mr-let:fishstick: Fishstick•

Hope they may patch that, cuz i really want to play the game again, the crafting system is fun and i really want to try it, also with the different varies of bow

1
Brodias_Johnson:hunter: Hunter•

You do realize how overworked this dev team is right now. They have to make weekly updates with everyone having new 3d modals in every single one. Epic is doing the best they can and you cant say they aren't unless you and a team of people can please millions with new content every couple of weeks. There are some games tat wait years to get updates.

1

I agree, just that twitter is the most salty and toxic platform that i know, i really don't like it. I mean to be honest i prefer the old map with the new game elements but thats no need to shit at the game devs for it
