If you are protecting a rank/lead then captain Kane, if you are chasing a rank/lead and the lead is quite big then captain Son.
I'm 26 behind my ML rival and will captain Kane (although I'm expecting him to TC Kane). The lead isn't that big so no need to take a needless risk.
