That cord is killing my OCD. Best of luck!
Same, I opted for the long chord so I can charge anywhere and position I park in the garage.
I opted for the long cord as well. Figured the extra can just hang, but I have the length if I need it.
What’s the on/off. I guess that’s you’re local disconnect for repair?
Yeah it's a master switch. I wasn't expecting it, but it's easy access
Make bigger loops.
Aha. Aussie here too! I literally just ordered a charger too.
May-June is my eta, what’s yours? :)
Same. Although the time frame online has come down, hoping a bit earlier. Was nice to get a text yesterday saying my car was now $4k cheaper as well.
What was the installation cost and what region?
I'm in Australia, the installation was $400aud
That’s really cheap, I was expecting a bit more in Australia. Is that the standard pricing around there?
No idea, but cheaper than I expected.
Is there a reason why people waste their money on a charger when the car comes with one free ?

My Mobile charger stays in my garage all the time :) I just hoot it up to a normal 40A outlet.
New owners usually don’t understand that the included connector has similar performance with the appropriate power so they do this.
It’s a waste of money IMO but one benefit is that you can carry the wall connector in the trunk as an emergency power source if you do this.
Just following up to this now that I have the car and charge at home. The wall connector is almost 5 times faster in charging than the included cable. I'm not sure if others get faster charges, but I get around 100kms an hour with the tesla connector, and 20-25 with the included one.
Congrats! Pulling out of the garage charged up and ready to go every day is great!!
Cheers! We don't have a great supercharger network in Australia, so I like to know I can have a good charge from home.
