This is a weird one, a couple days ago around 5:30pm, I was waiting on Church st to turn right onto Flemington/ Mt Alexander Road where I do a left turn to get to Racecourse Road. This area is a maze of roads with a tram line down the middle, very busy all the time. As I was waiting, the green arrow appeared and as I was driving across the lanes of Flemington road I noticed that the traffic was still coming from the city, where there should be a red light for them to allow my lane safe passage. I had to stop on the tram track, when a tram was bearing down on me, with cars behind that also went through the light. I was able to complete my right turn but due to the 4 lanes of traffic I had to
Hey all,
I'm visiting Adelaide and staying at my sister's place in the far Northern suburbs. I'd like to go to the game tonight, and was wondering what is my best option for parking? I'm not catching PT, and have my car. Hoping parking is within a 15 min walk of the stadium?
Hi all, I really love messing around on acoustic guitar in open d minor, c#g#c#d#a#c (unsure of this tuning name) and open d to name three ones I love. Problem is I am time poor, and would love to know how I should go about learning to play in these tunings, such as where do I find chords, scales etc? Usually I can choose a key, and standard tuning has a heap of resources, but this is hard to find a key and the tuning it goes with, if it even works this way? Can anyone point me in the direction at all? Thanks heaps 👍
I know there are many of you, and hopefully someone can help. I love Thirty Six Silos by If These Trees Could Talk, and particularly the intro. I have no idea how to write in this way. It's amazing. Does anyone have any info they could share to help, maybe the interplay between the guitars, the different rythms etc. I know it's not a complicated piece, but I'm stumped trying to understand it. And nothing exists online that I can find for it, not even a tab anywhere. TIA and appreciate you taking the time to read this.
Hey all,
I have had an Iridium since the depths of the pandemic and have only ever played through my headphones.
With opportunities to start playing with others now available I am keen to dump the amps and just use the Iridium.
My question is, what do I need to accompany it when at band practice etc? I find it much more comforting to ask the brains trust here rather than start plugging it into random speakers etc.
TIA
Hi all, I have a very basic understanding of theory, I understand the circle of fifths and can work out the basic scales etc. But obviously there is so much that is confusing outside of the basics, actually even the basics are confusing... I really want some lessons, but covid isn't really helping, and I'm keen on being in person rather than zoom etc. So I have a simple question hopefully someone can help me with? If I have a chord progression of Ab Bb Cm Eb. What scale would I use to play leads over? I try Cm but it doesn't sound great. Any ideas?
Hi guys, I assume this is the best place to ask this question.. I need to pick up some gig tickets from Ticketek, I have lost my wallet and have no idea where it is. Will they flat out refuse to give me the tickets? (Only hard copies were available) I have proof of purchase on my Ticketek app, but contacting them to confirm is almost impossible and I was hoping to hear from anyone with experience regarding this. Thanks EDIT: I had a picture of my licence due to my mortgage in a file. This was enough for the guy at the outlet. Although he said if I went into the city they would most likely have made it hard. So I got the tix, thanks for the replies.
Hi, as the title suggests, I want the Huawei version of Air pods, called Free buds. I can order them online, but not sure where I could physically get them, if anyone has an idea it would be appreciated. Thanks!
