FTM at .28... Already more than hbar wtf.
solution: buy more HBAR... also, i dunno it seems like most people in crypto are tards or something.. muh potatocoin.
This aged well, Fuck FTM
I agree with your sentiment but unfortunately it has aged well. FTM is at $1.4 right now while we're at $.31. It's proportional lead has increased to almost 5 to 1. And yes Fuck FTM they're a rippoff.
Your comment certainly did age well, Hope you bought some FTM even tho its not going to win in the long run.
FTM does not have the partnerships/governing bodies we have.
FTM has been shilled to hell and back, And I believe we should take that as a miracle. People will sleep on HBAR and while they do we can keep filling our bags.
It's a marathon for us here not a race, and I believe ultimately we will win this race.
Yeah. Algorithm is identical to the one Hedera patented.
strange

It does look very similar in a lot of ways. It would be interesting to see how and where they got all these similarities from.

Is this the fantomcoin that is #95 right now?
hmmm well it appears so.. weirdly enough, on coinmarketcap news section for the coin, you have some article about mark cuban shilling FTM now - i mean this guy has been shilling doge for the past while, and still thinks ethereum is a viable platform so it's comical in its own way. the guy comes across as a dbag to me, but anyway, to each his own..
you can also see that 80% of the supply has already been released onto 'market', and as you know from the mouth of dr. leemon himself, that is a clear sign that something fishy is about - scam alert.. granted, still less than the supply of HBARs but still something to factor in.
i dunno, this definitely seems like funny business to me - i do hope this gets nipped in the bud if so. crypto can be so fuckin' sketchy sometimes.

From my investigation, Hedera is licensing hashgraph under MLA. But originally, hashgraph was open-source free license and mosaic Networks was one of its contributor, they further the development and made the lachesis which later became FTM's foundation for aBFT.
Even if HBAR licensed hashgraph under MLA later, it would be hard for them to sue others as the source code under free license can be freely used by other parties as long as they don't use the hashgraph trademark.
This was also the same for linux and red hat case. Redhat (Hbar) decided to go for commercial path the moment their product became stable while the ubuntu (FTM) decided to further the open-source road based on the original open-source development
I can't see a DLT developer using existing architecture as a bad thing. They've done pretty damn well considering that they are now worth well over $2 a piece. Shame I didn't buy a few $k worth in March last year, at around half a cent each. Would have done well, but I would be converting to HBAR as the price ratio is crazy, and I'd be able to buy up a whole shit ton of HBAR right now, with plenty of change to put back into the bank. Am I happy about missing a chance to buy 4 or 5 HBARs for every half a cent invested? Yeah, of course I'm not. Hindsight is a bitch ain't it!
these fuckers banned me from their r/fantomfoundation subreddit lol

i'm not even interested in fantom from an investment perspective - at this point i'm basically a hedera maximalist and HBAR BULL.. just seems like these guys are a ripoff? anyone know what gives?
