Car purchase with Jade
So I'm looking to purchase a car on the card. I'm hoping to get my 3% back on the purchase. I'm trying to find the max daily spend and also whether a car dealer would be on the restricted list. A year ago I wouldn't have been worried about the 2nd part of the question, but I'm never sure now.

I'm glad I saw this. I was thinking of pushing everything over to a CRO card and making it my main card but most of my regular expenses wouldn't earn rewards. So, that shiny ass green card just lost a lot of its luster.
I personally haven't encountered a single merchant where I wasn't able to get cashback outside of gas and Aliexpress. Please note that the restrictions are not for the listed products but for the listed merchant codes. For example "computer software programs" are on the list but as long as you buy (as I have) them from a merchant with a non-5734 merchant code, you may still get cashback.
It’s strange how you didn’t receive cash back from AliExpress, my first purchase with the virtual card to test it was using AliExpress and I did get my cash back
Well, the very first time I tried using the CDC card with Aliexpress, it was rejected all together. Haven't tried buying anything from Ali in a while as I'm trying to reduce the number of products that I buy from China.
Thanks for the link, I was getting more at daily spend limits. I'll just give it a go and see what happens.
With regards to fuel purchases I think it is just prepaid pump transactions that got stopped. I get my 3% on petrol purchases as long as I pump then go pay at kiosk.
Understand this got changed because others were getting 3% cro back on the £99 reserve for pay at pump and then only putting £10 in the tank. So £3 off £10 of petrol each time was great for them but bad for CDC.
