I love streaming Nebula on my PC at 2160p quality. I've recently bought a Xiaomi TV Box S (3rd Gen) that runs Google TV. I've noticed that the Nebula app on the platform doesn't have the option to choose a resolution for each video and the resolution doesn't seem to reach 4K. Am I missing something or is 4K simply not available through the Google TV Nebula app?

This is a re-post. For a reason unknown to me my previous post was removed by mods.

I've been enjoying Nebula for several years now and I was wondering what you think Nebula's future may look like. I believe there used to be blog posts from Nebula's founders about what Nebula's current situation looks like and what the platform is aiming for in the future but I haven't seen one of those in a while.

I can see a future where Nebula will be a safe haven from AI slop. Other than that, I'm not quite seeing what the platform's future vision is. Will it remain sort of a YT alternative with much less but curated content, less ads and the feeling that you are supporting creators to a larger degree

I've yet to make use of the recurring buy functionality. How do the recurring buys interact with the commission fees and free monthly trades? Do the recurring buys simply eat up the commission free trades that are included with the Revolut plans? Thanks.

I've seen plenty of comments about how the tier changes will cause the PLU token price to crash and that users will not want to upgrade the card tiers further than what they've achieved pre grandfathering.

To asses if this is the case, I'd first compare the requirements to competing platforms to see if the requirements are sensible (they are). After that I'd take a ROI perspective and see if investing in a card tier makes sense. The returns should beat inflation and personally I'd aim for >10% returns.

Let's take a look at some ROI estimates for the different card tiers. I am assuming a monthly spend of $1500 and that the user can make use of all of the available perks. I am using the cu

Thank you for your help. I am aware that some of the requirements are somewhat specific. I do have a yellow Citizen Tsuyosa that mostly fits the bill but I am searching for something different for when the yellow dial may not be that optimal.

"Dear CoinLoaners,

A Notice of restraint on disposition received yesterday, April 24, 2023, obliges CoinLoan to halt all operations for its users, including withdrawals. This action is unexpected and has immediate effect. As a result, we have no choice but to comply with the said requirements.

We are doing everything in our power to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. Pausing all activities on the platform is a difficult decision, and we have made it with a heavy heart. CoinLoan will work diligently to meet its obligations, taking all the necessary steps to protect and preserve users’ assets.

My Disney+ and Readly rebates have triggered without issues and I've received my Hi token pay outs almost instantly. Yesterday my Kindle Unlimited subscription payment was due but the rebate did not trigger. I suspect that this may be because the payment title is "amazon.co.uk" without any reference to "Kindle".

Has anyone else had success with the Kindle lifestyle subscription perk?

The great rebate table created by the community doesn't unfortunately include much information regarding the Kindle rebate.

Putting this out here as soon as I noticed this to give users information to potentially protect their personal details. I've not studied this in detail so please let me know if you are observing similar things in the app.

When I go to Card Benefits -> Card Spend Rewards I can see titles of purchases carried out in e.g. the UK (I am located in the EU). I believe these are the titles of purchases that have yielded me referral spend rewards. At least some of my own purchase titles do include information that not only betray my spending and purchase habits but also my general location.

The Hi team should hide the titles of purchases carried out by other people ASAP.

Edit: It seems that

I've chosen USDT as my secondary currency for my card. When I go to my USDT wallet, it shows 499 USDT in flexible as it should. When I go to my card -> spendable balance -> selected secondary currency it shows 449 USDT. Why does the spendable secondary currency show a 50 USDT lower balance than what I actually have in my USDT wallet?

Hi's card product has now launched which is a quite significant deal. Has anyone seen any ads regarding the launch? I've not even seen a post about the cards in r/CryptoCurrency. The Hi team may of course aim to keep the initial launch small-scale and make sure that everything functions properly.

A few first impressions about using the card:

  • The virtual card was easily added to Curve
  • The cashback seems to be almost instant
  • In addition to fiat, only BTC, ETH and USDT are currently supported for direct spending. I'd hope to see other common assets like USDC.
  • After updating the app, the rebates were quite easily selected and adjusted. I've yet to test a subscription rebate as my sub

Interest Account: New Features and Updates

Dear CoinLoaner,

We have one more important milestone to share – in addition to our usual Interest Account service, we offer you an option to get higher interest rates by using Fixed Account. Our former Interest Account service is now called Flexible.

The Fixed Account functionality and new interest rates are a part of our strategy to manage current and future market challenges, which we have been handling more than well in the past few months. We have been hard at work delivering the best service to our users and keeping our interest rates unchangeable in the last few years despite multiple turmoils. Yet, we are one of the last to ch

The today's Twitter AMA can be found here.

Most of the related discussion will most probably be focused on the slashed card cashback and rebate rates.

  • The stated upcoming cashback rates (from Black tier onwards): 1, 2, 3, 4, 8%
  • The upcoming number of rebates/life style rewards are (from Black tier onwards): 1, 3, 5, 10, 15

The AMA made the point of the card rates still being the best available in the EU. I'm not sure how well the Hi team knows the Plutus project. Hi's largest competition may come from the free Plutus card with a 4.99€ monthly subscription that offers 3% cashback and 2 rebates/life style rewards (worth ca. 10€ each). Y

Following the news that Armanino may be ending its crypto audit practice, it seems like Mazars Group which is the company that worked with Binance, crypto.com and KuCoin proof of reserves is now ending or at least pausing all work with crypto clients: https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/12/16/binance-proof-of-reserves-auditor-mazars-pauses-all-work-for-crypto-clients/
