I love DeRo. He’s just a smart baseball guy, who has a genuine love for the game.
Chipper has been putting in that work with Riley and it’s paying off. When DeRo said Chipper said Riley looks like Troy Glaus, I got a little excited. Glaus was one of the best 3rd baseman of his generation.

He's much more good ole boy than pretty boy though. Tebow is a great guy but he's also a bit of a prima donna. Riley doesn't seem to desire the spotlight as much.

Man, I've always been high on him, especially because in the video where DeRo talks about how high Chipper had always praised him. Glad to see he's finally coming into his own.

So happy for this dude. Ran into him at a good course near Cooltoday Park last year. He was just finishing his round and I was about to begin mine. Only thing I had for him to sign was my Braves visor. He very graciously signed, I asked how he hit em and he said something non-committal. Wished me luck with my round, I wished him luck getting the starting 3B job.
