Takes one to know one. Evangelical theologian Russell Moore says QAnon has "all of the characteristics of a cult"

reminds me of religion classes in high school, where they warned us about other religions while hammering in the fact that ours is the only true way to the salvation.

i remember back then thinking 'well duh, of course ours is the true way, why else would our parents and everyone in the village teach it to us?!' and also wondered why people in other religions won't wake up from their deception and convert into ours.

nowdays i'm an atheist and see how the mental conditioning worked from the early years on.

They also believe that former President Donald Trump was somehow combatting this Satan-worshipping group during his tenure in the White House.

Who knew that the primary weapon against Satan was a golf club and/or a diet coke?!

Nevertheless, the pushback against Q will have to come from inside The Box of Xtian Groupthink, Social Proof & Unquestioning Acceptance of Authority. Because (if you understand what's at that link), it's pretty clear no one IN that box will accept anything from outside the thing.
