I continue to be quite distraught, sad, and upset by all of the stories here and elsewhere of atheist and LGBT children being kicked out of their family homes and/or shamed and/or pressured and physically/mentally harmed by the very people who have an obligation to love them and care about them most.

It all crushes my heart.

This all got me thinking: "Does this happen in reverse"? Are theist children ever treated this way by atheist parents? So, I have been using search terms such as "Christian child kicked out by Atheist Home", trying to find reverse examples. Now, I understand that math indicates that there should be far fewer examples
