Transhumanism: Could we live forever?

As someone who was raised very christian, I watch this and see the religion of my childhood. And larger, Genesis being in all Abrahamic religions, meaning the majority of people on earth share an origin mythos of having been cast out of The Garden. Cursed but also the only conscious beings, with mandate still intact to "fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
Human supremacy is the global religion. And with the split consciousness of divine ruler under the curse of death, eternal life becomes a natural fixation. Death is acceptable for other creatures, the lowly beasts without eternal spirit (in science speak "no animal is self-conscious"), but not for humans, who with any matter of scientific education still refuse to call themselves animals. The hierarchy of Genesis is still intact, the pain of a mouse meaningless. Life, by which we only ever mean human life, still lacks meaning unless it is eternal. "The brain" uploaded is now the immortal soul, too lofty to live by physical laws and become compost with everyone else. And the fathomless immaturity of being unable to comes to terms with death is again exulted as our salvation.
I notice these "life like" robots always seem to be molded in female form. Paul would approve "Sofia," a new plastic take on:
Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
Hanson Robotics has only perfected the Christian woman, who recites her verses flawlessly and whose reproduction is in the hands of her maker. The Curse and The Woman Question are finally resolved in silicone, where her programming is sure to stick.
Of course this is only for the extremely wealthy, to whom death is now the only limit to their power. The rest of us will serve as lab rats to be sure the technology works correctly.
Life is grand only when there is death. It's so obvious. Humans without death would be evil, miserable and meaningless.
