Straight from spurious correlations.
/r/TheNormalizedStandardDeviation-orCoefficientOfVariance-isJustTheStandardDeviationDividedByTheMean was already taken.
But which-causes-which?
Is high margarine consumption leading to divorce?
Or does divorce wreck your eating habits?
Correlation may not equal causation, but this should still be put into r/dataisbeautiful, along with the source material.
Who eats margarine?
We eat Smart Balance which is really just branded margarine.
...Although my wife insists it's Definitely Not Margarine.
I hope we don't get into a divorce over this.
It sounds like your wife needs to watch your 2 hr PowerPoint presentation on hydrogenated oils.
The same people putting Sweet'n Low in their coffee.
In my experience, old people
This right here.
The recently divorced.
People allergic to milk

This is way more amusing than the common ice-cream-and-murder-rate example!
Margarine causes divorce.
It's science
My prenup specifies the unhealthy amounts of delicious butter will remain with me.
It shows that to be in a happy relationship, you first must love yourself. And no one who loves themselves eats margarine...
Or you could be allergic to milk and have no other choice....
I'm that case, you just have to belly up and take the diarrhea. Self-love isn't always tidy
That's intolerance, I'm talking about an actual allergy as in your throat swells up and you die allergy.
I have an anaphylactic allergy to milk so if I touch or eat/drink it i die within 10 minutes unless I use an EpiPen and rush to a hospital....

Boomers love divorce and margarine so it makes sense
I mean, oddly, I can see why this would correlate. 😂
I can’t believe it’s not butter!
The courts don’t care what you believe Sharon, the kids aren’t staying with you full time
Brought to you by the Maine dairy board
I’m divorced and I never ate margarine!
Then it was your wife. Did you check the cheese drawer? I've found it twice. One more time and I'm moving to Montenegro.
Makes sense
This correlation only works when George W Bush is President.
Causal.
Can confirm. I divorced my first two wives, who only ever ate margarine. Currently, my third wife insists on real butter and only real butter. She's a keeper.
(seriously, she's a keeper, but I love spurious correlations like this)

21 years and we never eat margarine
Now do salted butter
I've had this theory for years! Ha, and everyone called me crazy!
This is . . . random.
Not random at all. In fact it directly correlates.
