Dude. If billions of people are going to die of climate change, how is that helping POC?
I know people on this sub like to use that stupid argument as a cudgel, but if Biden doesn’t do anything about climate change or stop the GOP from further gerrymandering or voter suppression, it does. Not. Matter.

Sunrise has always shown poor political instincts so it doesn't surprise me that they'd have internal issues like this too.

It’s not the best group for a number of reasons. They’re against nuclear and carbon sequestration and even studying geoengineering. Every tool possible should be on the table

I’ve always been of the opinion that environmental groups do more harm than good. And this just reinforces that thought
