Adhesive problem with scar tissue

I am having a problem with adhesive sticking to the scar tissue close to my stoma. I have tried the half-moon adhesive things to add more adhesion but that doesn't stick well either. I am sensitive to the paste in a tube and get all rashy and itchy from it.

Any suggestions?

Hollister does sell a spray adhesive glue #7730 that you could use a small layer for on the spot that crosses your scar. I think it would help.

I also use a bit of dandruff shampoo around my stoma and make sure I rinse it really well and pat dry. I find it keeps the oils off. That would be good to try out on that area too.

Thanks!

ps: thanks for the +1 karma. I was stuck at 666! Haha! I don't really believe in that stuff but it does make me uneasy, just in case :)

Try Duoderm Thin 4x4 sheets and cut to size. I use this whenever my skin is broken or rashy. It is gentle to your skin and the wafer sticks to it just fine.
