I read this article which actually concerns social interactions but it made me think that MAYBE it could be something that explains my own UC. I did not have GI problems that were "serious" like rectal bleeding until I started working at a high-stress job. I did not have any idea about cortisol and how it affects the body. Now there is this article that links cortisol to the gut biome. This would explain to me how I developed UC when I had no other risk factors for UC. My stress was much more than I could handle. And I paid for it with UC.

I know that stress is my main trigger for a flare so I try to keep my stress level down.

I am wondering if there is some way to get this primary bacteria

I have a colectomy. I have my rectum and anus and I get the horrid mucus from it. I tend to hold it in because I am bed-bound. I don't want that in my bed. I do have a Chucks pad under me but the stuff gets all in my crack and all over my butt.

So I decided to get some glycerin suppositories to make my self poop it all at one time so it doesn't drizzle out constantly. I'd like to think of it as an oil change and open the spigot and let the muck flow.

The cannister says it takes about 15 minutes to work. Has anyone tried it? I have a bed side potty I can sit on or I can get on the shower bench and let it out in the shower.

I am just tired of laying in the stuff making my bed a

So it looks like I am having a UC flare. I had a partial colectomy in which my transverse and the descending colon were removed. The rectum and anus remain. I think the ascending colon is flaring because I have blood in my ostomy bag. My stoma appears normal with no obvious cuts or scrapes so I don't think it's a stoma problem.
I think technically I can still flare in the part of the colon that was left, the ascending colon.
Has this happened to anyone else? Or a similar situation of flaring with part of the colon left? The stoma is the probably somewhere from the middle up of my ascending colon. It sits on my right side in between my pelvis and boob. We are going to call the doctor tom

I am in Tennessee.
Is it okay to offer the violator to pay me $5000 or I will file an ADA complaint? Our apartment tenancy was contingent upon working there. Hubby was laid off and told they were not able to accommodate his need for overnight hours anymore. No job, no apartment. We can't afford to move. His complaint seems solid. We just want out but can't wait for the violation to be investigated and resolved. We have to be out by Feb. 15th. We had the $5000 before he accepted this job and his disability was accommodated just fine. Now they say they can't and another person has taken his job. Is it okay to ask to be made right instead of filing a complaint?Edit: We are in Tennessee. The

My husband's mental illness kept him from facing reality. He didn't pay the mortgage and hid it from me. We were evicted. Landlords won't rent to us with an eviction. We need money to pay 3 months rent and deposits. I am re-homing my cats because it costs too much to keep them. It's breaking my heart. My husband also had a heart attack that put him in the hospital ICU for two months. We have no car, no home and I am losing hope.
