[5875] A Night to Survive - A complete short story

Hello, this is my first submission to this subreddit. This is a completed piece I've created and would appreciate any feedback or criticisms you may have with it. Comments are left on if you feel like leaving a little extra!

Warning!!! This story has combat and parts with Blood references. I'm not sure if this is needed, but I'm putting it here anyways.

Some things I would like to know:

-Are my characters interesting?

-Do you find the story interesting?

-Is the plot intriguing enough to make you think about future works in this world?

-Do I write too broadly?

-Do I have too match action for a piece just under 6000 words?
