12 months!
Hi all, hope everyone is kicking goals!
I'm 12 months clean from opiates today.
Happy to just have a cold beer and a blunt now.
Posted this to give a bit of hope to those struggling.
It can be done. 18 months ago I was ready to eat a bullet. Right now, future looks bright 😁

Thanks for the motivation! I’m only at 28 days and feel like shit, but this too shall pass. I feel the eating a bullet.
Hi are you on anything to help? Why does it get tougher at 30 day mark? I've heard that quite a bit. I'm 7 days clean off fent Today! 🥳 so just curios to what lies ahead
I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking too. I think it’s mostly because you’re sober, still feeling blah, and don’t know how to do life without the drugs. It feels hopeless. I’m trying so hard to feel grateful but I just feel mentally and physically worn out. I have so many things I want to do, but I just lay here, like I’m stuck in purgatory. I hope it gets better with more time. Right now is just yuk.
Ya it sucks man you just have to get through it. Eating healthy, exercising and getting out in the sun (if you don't live up North) definitely helped me. Maybe can look into a run of Wellbutrin to get over the hump. I'm coming up on 11 months and still have time to go till I feel I'm totally back but just keep remembering every week it will usually get a little better and after enough time passes you will feel great again, but if you fuck up and relapse you are back at square one.
Yupp you nailed it. Day 30-60 or so were pretty rough and that’s exactly how I felt
Oh! And congratulations 🎊
